10-Year-Old Daneliya brings BOTH of us & the VOCAL COACHES to TEARS in The Voice Kids! 😢 

The man standing for her songs, was the coach she chose. She knew all his songs, he is a famous artist in Ukraine. The three girl singers were all on his team and he had to pick just one to advance. Daneliya's native tongue is Russian. She learned Ukraine so she could sing that last war song in Ukraine. She had all the audience in hand by the end, and won the contest. The youngest and first foreign girl to win The Voice Ukraine. The first song she opened with, Stone Cold, went viral with 7 million views the first week. It is still viral, now with 85 million views on you tube.

The last song is "Not your war" by Okean Elzy Is an Ukrainian song written after the 2014 war with Russia which lead to the annexation of Crimea to Russia. Is now more actual than ever to spread this words of peace. It's the final performance in the The Voice Kids Ukraine 4th season 2017. She barely keeps tears at bay when she sings and is really shaken during the final comments as the spectators and the judges. Lyrics: Ne tvoya viyna (Не твоя вiйна) (Not your war) Battle at dawn. In the complete video there is the coach comment after the performance. Coach comment translation: Monatik: It will be better to tell how it all began... When we were working on the final song I asked Danya (diminutive from Daneliya) what did she want to sing? She replied that she adores "Okean Elzy" group. And I asked her "What song do you want to sing?" She replied: "The War That's Not Yours". And I thought: "Such a little girl... Whether she can feel and understand such a complicated song? I asked her to sing and I was just flabbergasted. Daneliya, I just want to tell you, dear Daneliya Tuleshova, you have to understand that you are held responsible... As far as I understand you are now the Voice of all the children of our planet... You have a great mission here... I'm honestly sure about it... And soon you will understand how important this mission is. She's so amazing now but as you heard she was at 10 also! Sorry guys about the mix up, her audition video is the one with the 2 songs, but it didn't say anything about 2 songs. I don't understand why she is not a world wide superstar, but i am starting to think is because of the kind of songs she is singing now...she is amazing and her voice and talent is unbelievable.

The last song was about war and the innocent children that died because of inhuman greed. She phenomenal. She is from the same country as Dimash and the TNT boys which she also competed in the World Best. Which Dimash dropped due to refusing competing against young children to give them a chance to compete. Her coach is also a performer and over the years he pulled her into some of his concerts. A couple years ago Kastastan put on a special concert to raise money for all the displaced people caught in the war with Russia and the Ukraine Her coach performed with Danelyia and also the young female coach was also performing. Danelyia also performed this last song there as well So moving!

Guys, this will be remembered as one of the finest Talent Show overall performances by anyone at any age. Daneliya had been drawing a lot of attention in Asia before this and she was invited to appear on The Voice for KIds in Ukraine. Without question the last song was the show stopper and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Her coach, known as Monatik, was so impressed with her performances leading up to the final song, he asked her was there something she would like to sing. She said the song about the FIRST war between Russia and Ukraine. Monatik suggested very nicely to her, perhaps it wasn't appropriate for such a young person to sing such a dramatic song. But, he asked her to sing a little of it to give her the opportunity to sing it for him. In a word he said he was FLABBERGASTED when he heard her begin to sing it and told her, "Okay!" At the end of the song (there are video's with subtitles) she speaks directly to the audience in her own words and tells them there should be no more wars and people should think of the children and give them a chance to live without the fear of war. To this day, it is one of the finest vocal performances I have ever heard in my life. Because of the current situation in Ukraine (again!!!) and because she was, and is, very popular in Russia (she is from Kazakhstan, also the home of Dimash) she made a gigantic move and now lives in the USA and has continued expanding her education in Boston. My wish for her is to enjoy success but I have to admit I have some concerns about her song choices since she has gotten older (she will 18 very soon). But that might be me. Apparently the younger generation absolutely loves her! Thanks for a terrific reaction to this video. Btw, there is a wonderful performance by Daneliya in Russia singing Mariah Carey's famous Christmas song and it is so good, well, it's definitely worth a listen (it's incredible)!

About the 4th season 2017 of the Voice Kids Ukraine. 1st round the blind audition. She sang "Stone Cold" and the judges asked her to sing another song "Trymai" After the blind audition every coach started with 12 kids per team. Battle round: the 12 are divided into teams of 3 and they sing a song together. From every team of 3, only one goes on. knockout round: of the 4 kids remaining only 2 go on. Those rounds were recorded before (around June-July) and the choice was made by the coach. The final and semifinal rounds were live on December 17, 2017, with votes from the public at home. Spectrum was the semifinal, she competed with Nino Basilaya a friend of her from Kyiv or Kiev. She met her various time in other contests like Children's New Wave in 2015. Nino Basilaya now is part of the Monatik group (Monatik is the coach of Daneliya's team in the voice). The Voice kids is the kids version of the show "The Voice" for children up to 15 year old. This is the 4th season (2017) of the Ukrainian version. 1st Blind audition - the judges listen (with the seats rotated 180 degrees so they can't see the singer) and the can chose to turn and get the singer in they team. if more than one judge turn, the singer chose which team join. At the end of the audition every team has 12 children. 2nd battleround - 3 children of the same team sing part of the same song and in the end the judge chose which one can continue the competition. (4 groups of 3 children for every judge) 3rd knockout - another round between the remaining 4 children of the same team (each with a different song) only 2 continue the show Until now the choice were made by the judges. 4th semi-final - This is the last episode of the show and the only one live with votes from the audience at home. The audience chose only 1 of 2 contender of each team. 5th final - in the same final episode of the show the remaining contender of each team fight for winning the title. Thanks for sharing your experience with us, we love her and we want her to blow up. Her favorite cover, is Not About Angels, but you really have to see River. On these songs, she shows the range of her talent. The smooth ballad, and the sassy pop. Her voice is so spellbinding and addictive that it’s almost impossible to believe. The title of the last song is, Not Your War. She did a live performance in Almaty for peace in Ukraine.

The Voice in the US also has this same format. The 3 girls performing together was during what is called the knockout round and though they are singing together and the same song they are competing against each other.

I think Daneliya did about 60 or more covers and she did 99% of them better than the originals. She is more well-known in different countries than a lot of established American singers. A 17-year-old singer with 1,52 M has to be proud of herself as we are proud of her too. Daneliya is very busy with school in Boston. She is planning to become a lawyer but she still finds time to prepare an album of some 8 songs for us, hopefully soon. Keep an eye on that. Her first "Blind audition" song is probably the one she is most known for, and that final song is called "Not your War" was probably her most emotional of the show. I actually really enjoy when she sings this song in Ukrainian and when she sings songs in Russian and Kazakh. But I think the thought might be that singing in those languages often or exclusively would sort of naturally alienate the English speaking audience she is really trying to reach. But the flip side would be that singing in English exclusively would perhaps naturally alienate those native speakers as well. That’s a choice. I don’t have an answer for that one. I do think singing in English is a requirement for superstardom though.
