After watching countless aging/ancient properties being cleared/cleaned out, this clip was special. Finally a clip that showed the renovation of the interior of a home. Bravo!
When we first bought our farm, the house needed lifted because the beams were failing. We used two standard house jacks. It had to be lifted slowly, 3/4ths of an inch per day, because it was a two story house. It worked, then we fixed the beams, we left the jacks alone, but thought about getting a log and hollowing it out to surround the ugly appearance of the jacks. Brick would work, but my foundation and basement walls are made with grey stones. The basement was to the original house that had burnt, built in 1856. The current house is a Sears kit home built in 1945. It’s very solid, built using hardwoods like Sugar Maple, Oak, and Hemlock. Zero pine. I could never find a house more well built. However, due to the shifting, the plaster work is cracked, and windows wouldn’t open, doors needed re-alignment. We bought a new front door, installed a woodstove, and then replaced the windows. It’s very expensive to fix an old house! I love your videos, they gives me ideas. Thank you!😃

What I've noticed in these videos is how in almost every episode, they cut down all the trees and then either cement or brick the whole yard. I heard China is hot and humid so you'd think they would keep some trees for shade.
I ' m an old woman but all my garden îs full of flowers, tree, vegetables from Șpring to autmn..I have only a small path among all these. Why to cut all around You If it îs no necessary ? Why to sufocate the soil with bricks ,Dust , clay ..concrete .. Usually men try to use every piece of land not to distroid all the grass and plants . And why there are a lot of abandoned houses . In my country the relatives , the grandsons , someone of the family will clean and preserve when the old persoane past away. Sorry..
Looking at a lot of them, I wonder if they were in a condemned area ruined by floods, and people were finally allowed to return to fix them up. I agree, though, I would at least keep the fruit trees. Maybe they think they could sell easier if they were low maintenance and more modern.....

Make Two way to enter in the house and one to carry the branches and bricks, Dust, ..in an outside aria. If are working three personnes. One come working from left, one from wright and other takes all garbages..there are a lot of simple procedura to simlpify your work and to make all quickly. A chaotic work from to and fro..îs usless and at the end will be necessary to work twice for the same Area
For ten years of neglect it looked pretty good. I expected complete chaos. Needs power washing thou. Change that music. Every one of your videos has the same music. It gets annoying after a while.

Очень странный ремонт, все через задницу, покрасить стены а потом шлифовать двери. Положить плитку на пол купить камин и оставить хлипкие двери и окна. Я понимаю что это другая культура, но готовить на улице в любую погоду, а плохая погода тоже бывает это неудобно. И где мыться, ну туалет на улице видно. Если это не все покажите продолжение. У нас говоря ляп тяп лижбы быстро, это про ваш ремонт. Мне не понравилось!

We actually saw the inside of the house being made into a home and lived in, I must agree with removing trees, but at least they didn’t throw the rubbish into the forest or edge of the street like many other videos I’ve seen! Lo que hace es una locura porque un corte con una motosierra si no es mortal, puede mutilar un órgano, provocando la muerte por desangramiento. Para una motosierra hay que vestirse con ropa especial desde los pies a la cabeza incluyendo los ojos y la cara y los pies.

Interesting to see how different cultures do renovations. Agree, this music is overused in these particular videos I just mute. Losing interest since they rarely show completion of renovations and no captions. So many better channels offering better quality.
