I played littlebigplanet a lot. And when I played it, i was always excited for everything in the game: the cute sackboy, the creative worlds. I just loved it. But now I have the Nintendo Switch, I miss it❤️

get a ps3 or a ps4. if you are gonna get it only for lap, then get a ps3. but if you want to play the latest game only and other games, then get a ps4

I started playing around 2009 and I’m 15 years old now and my gosh was this game perfect. I came home every day playing with my sister and cousins, I’m very surprised that it’s 10 years old the gardens stage one music got into my recommended feed and I felt so happy and sad at the same time. This game is my childhood as well on the GameCube playing Spider-Man and the ps2. I love the PS3 from lbp to cod it was just a different time then when interacting with people was the best thing out there when gaming but now people have there own friends witch is ok but game chat is not being used I miss that :(

Ugh, I'd love for the game to go back to the way it was. I recently lost my LBP1 disc but still play LBP2 and its not as fun. Everyone plays the same old level and rarely talk. :(

I remember the first time i played little big planet, i was 8 years old, walking through blockbusters array of games for the ps3, and my dad wouldn't allow me to play games that had mature content, so i settled for E, 10+, and T rated games. We got home late so i had to wait untill tommorrow after school to play it. When i got home i litteraly played all day until my dad got home at 8 pm and after that i just fell in love with the series. ❤❤❤❤❤

One of my favourite memories on lbp is making friends with newer people (I still do this now). I usually play one of the levels in the gardens or the tutorial and I try and join people and help them out a little bit, since I am assuming they are new players. I actually made a few friends just by doing that! And I am not the person who calls people a noob, because if you really think about it everybody was a noob once in their life. Just be nice and helpful and that is really all you need to make friends! And most likely they will really appreciate it.

I can't believe the game is 10 years. I got the game when I was 2. It was 2009, and we were moving out of our old house, and we left the case there. I miss my LBP 1 and 2 games so much. LBP 1 was my first game that I played. Why did my PS3 have to not read discs anymore. RIP LBP. You will be remembered. Edit: I feel so nostalgic every time I play LBP 1 and 2 at my friends' house Edit 2: 27:50 Did he just say LBP3 was 6 years ago and not 4 years ago?

Hey there! I just wanted to say that your PS3 not reading discs is probably an easy fix. It is most likely due to the CD drive's aging. Not to worry, troubleshoot it! If you're lucky the rubberband is the only thing that broke, if the CDs aren't spinning this means the rubber band inside the CD drive died. Take it apart and buy a replacement belt, they go for less than a buck. However if the CD drive isn't reading the discs then you most likely have a problem with the lens. Just search on the internet and you'll find plenty of advice to get it back to working state. P.S. have you looked at the back of the game's disc? Are there scratches? If so, that might also be a reason why it is not playing in your system. If so you'll have to clean it. Hopefully I motivated you to go and attempt fixing your CD drive so that you can enjoy this awesome game again at home :)

I showed my dad your comment and he said "That would require taking it apart, and I am NOT doing that." Also, some of the unscratched discs weren't being read. LBP1 wasn't, Skyrim, it just wasn't working. I'm so glad my friend has LBP1 and 2. I could play it while I'm over there.

I remember almost crying when I aced (not dying) all the levels as a younger kid 10 years ago.. I just need 1 more trophy, it's the one where the level you made has to get a certain amount of hearts and you as a creator as well. I still love these games

I remember coming home from a day camp with my sister and our friend that’s a boy. I was the youngest so I would always go last and throw a fit. I was never that good at the game and didn’t really understand what to do, I just played it. And when he would have to go home I would play it for hours just practicing how to do it, thus my sister getting mad at me because she would not be able to play. 8+ years later and I have completely forgot about this game until now. the only one game of the trio I couldnt 100 %, the desert bomb level where you have to bomb something to get to prize bubbles always messed me up and so did the electricity wheel from one of the last levels. trully sad but might give it a go again now its 10 years old!

My dad had little big planet on the ps3 when i was little!! I used to play it sometimes because I thought the sack people were funny and i liked the stickers. I used my dad's account so I got to dress my sack person up in all the cool costumes my dad collected in his gameplay. I've never been much of a gamer, but lbp has always been the exception. I remember being really sad when my dad got rid of the ps3 because it meant I couldn't play it anymore! I'm 20 now and watching this brought back some very fond memories!!

I remember playing this game for the first time back when I was still learning English. I never really got to get 100% completion because I was scared to be social and I broke one of the controllers at one point, so the multiplayer areas were difficult, but it's still honestly one of my favourite games and I'll probably play through it again for nostalgia's sake in a few years

I remember when my sister and I were down at the park a block from my home and my dad had called and told us he got a new game for the PS3 he thought we might like. We both rushed home and waited for it to download and played for hours on end. The best thing was meeting all the people in story mode and having fun going down the skating ramp and what not lol. This game remains one of my favorites.

Little big planet was the game i would always play whenever i got home from school. I spent hours and hours and hours of my days playing this game. This game filled me with so much joy and excitement. I've played all the other little big planet games but the first game will always hold a place in my heart that no ther could replace. I've always loves customizing my little sack boy, and to this day i find myself listening to its ost. God do i miss it ;;

Little big planet 1 was the best game ever made, from the cinematics, the turtorial, the create mode, the style and the enjoyment and the levels. I remember i got 100% completion for this game which gives you a platinum trophy and it gives you this paper costume. I miss this, I wish it was on PC :(

Honestly it’s an amazing game, it brings back nostalgia. I had a rough childhood and playing this game was an escape from reality, something about it made me feel so whole. I used to stay up hours on end late nights so I didn’t have to think about my life. It’s so beautifully made and it connects so easily with children :^) Thank LBP!! I still have 1 and 2 !!

I remember PlayStation network was down for a month back in 2010, and everybody was allowed to pick 2 games for free out of a list of 5 games. I figured I wouldn't enjoy the game much but I ended up loving it. I remember making costumes using stickers people posted on their levels, turning myself into Spider-Man or a teenage mutant ninja turtle. Also bomb survival levels people created 😂

it’s been more than 15 years since the release of littlebigplanet 1, and it’s still one of IF NOT the greatest game of all time

My Fav memory of this game is when me and my brother came home after school, we both did our homework together and had a snack. After that we came to our living room and played it for hooooooouuuuurs trying to beat 1 level.😂😂😂 And sometime our parents help out with us! This game holds a great part in my heart and when I feel down. BOOM this game

I like how simple lbp1 was, lbp3 was so complicated it was offputting. I liked how all the npcs were made in the creator, not just specially made character models. Everything feels accessible. I cam make the levels in the creator of I put time into it.

I’m surprised u made another series on this game. Nonetheless, LBP has left a huge mark on me and my imagination. It has taught me there is no limit and you can do anything you’d like to do. I’ve had so many memories on lbp 1 and 2! It is my favorite game series of all time! Lbp2 is my favorite game ever. So many friends made and memories! I miss it all. However all great things must come to an end. Can’t wait to see U 100% the game! I’m thinking of getting another ps3

I never had the pleasure of playing this game myself, I remember when I was 8 I’d watch my brother play it on his PS3 and well me being his younger sister, of course he hated me and wouldn’t let me have a go myself xD 10 years later, I’m now 18 and still haven’t played this game… after being so mesmerised by this game when I was 8, at least I can watch it now without being called annoying LMAO. I’d kill to play this game now, but 9 year old me thought… let’s get an Xbox! so now I’m sat here as an Xbox player and depressed that I’ll never actually be able to play this game 😭💀

I just played this game for the first time ever today. I missed a lot of PS3 games because I was busy in high school & college & at the time I was actually into PS1 & PS2 games ( still do ). Reminds me a lot of Yoshi’s woolly world & Pikmin 3 on Nintendo Wii U. So relaxing :)

i'm so, so glad that we're able to play lbp on rpcs3 (ps3 emulator for pc), using it now is bringing back memories and it's so fun playing, that and lbp2!

I rember them rainey days wen just come in from school and what i uster do wen i got in form school i woude take off my shaos and top and then got my fivret drink fier up the old ps3 sit down and play the game this was back in 2008 and 2009 and 2010

A sad thing I want to confess is that when I played LBP 1 for the first time, I couldn't get past the first gardens level because I didn't know how to put the stickers on him (even after watching the tutorial) so I just went around and started to spam the dude's face on everything until I watched a walkthrough online.

ah, yes. i love little big planet. my uncle bought it for me in 2009 and i would play it all the time! even my little brother who was like 3/4 at the time would also play it and he even beat the whole game himself. 10 years later and i’m missing this game :’(

ninja killer my brother has the xbox, switch, and wii-u installed to the tv, we haven’t used our ps3 in such a long time. i have played it again a few years ago, but haven’t played it recently
