I can tell you that, in our case, the diagnosis did help, because it gave us more compassion for her and that helps with patience and helping her at her level. Not expected things that are impossible from her right now. It also helps us to understand that she is mot doing these things just to be mean. It takes our own "victimhood" out of the way.
On behalf of all parents who are currently experiencing difficulties in communicating with their kids and family members, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to you. Teacher Ming, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
I have a question for you when do you think a speech therapist should take an assessment test with autistic kid who is verbal but tough to talk to someone he doesn't know.. We went to the speech therapist for 1.5 months (he had 6 appointments total) and she never has taken it with my autistic kid saying that "I need to know him better" so I waited and waited until my son (he is 5yo) said Let's go home mom, please let's go home!)))) and He almost never talked to the specialist, he refused to play with her or do something else , and the specialist never offered us any plan what to do next or what we should expect next she was just sitting and rolling toy cars and trying to catch my sons attention🤦🏻♀️🤪
Thankyou Ming! My child is 6 year old non verbal, he can understand the language but can not talk back.I did everything what I know but not working out. Its been very difficult for him to produce sounds. Can you help me out?
Thank you so much for this. You dont know how many times i've criead while watching this video and how it motivates me to have a better relationship with my child. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
