🎨How to recover lost CapCut Projects?
🎁Method 1: Store from My Space on CapCut
🎈My Space is a Cloud feature on CapCut.
This function is required to log in to your account.
If you uploaded your projects into My Space, you can download them.
No matter whether you uninstalled CapCut by deleting user data or not, the projects on My Space are still on it, as long as you log in to this account.
🎁Method 2: Copy the project folder into Save-to location
🎈Reason:
You probably didn't lose the project, it's just that CapCut didn't detect it, so it can't show the project.
The original project files of CapCut are several json files.
They are under the main folder with your project's name.
So we need to locate the project folder in our computer and copy them into the location of CapCut Save-to in order to make CapCut detect it.
🎈How to do:
Launch CapCut and click the gear icon.
go to settings.
Check Save-to location under the Project option.
Click the folder icon to see where is the project file of CapCut.
Then you need to go to this location on your computer.
Click the space of the address, and copy the address.
Open another File Explorer.
Paste the address to it, and hit enter.
so now you access the default Save-to location of CapCut.
You should find your original projects folder.
If you don't know where is it.
Try to search for its name in the search box in file explorer.
When you find them, you can directly copy the Project main folder to CapCut Save-to location.
Or you can copy all subfolders and files under the Projects main folder, and paste to CapCut Save-to location.
And then, create a new project folder for these copied folders and files.
If the project doesn't show up on CapCut, you can exit CapCut and launch again.
Then CapCut will detect the project you created and display it.
🎁Method 3: Use 4DDiG to recover your lost projects

Choose data recovery.
Select the disk from where the project was deleted.
Click Scan.
Select all types and scan.
You can input your project name in the search box.
When you find the project folder, remember to check if all subfolders and files are inside.
Select the main project folder, and click recover.
Finally, copy the projects folder and paste it to CapCut Save-to location.
