I am 80 years old and i nearly cried from memories and how i was having fun listening to them and how i was so sad when i heard their death (R. I. P all of them) it was better days
Very interesting video I must say. I'm now 49 years old and grew up listening to the music from the 50's and 60's thanks mostly because of my late mother vassa papadimitriou who unfortunately died on October 16 1988 from a brain aneurysm in her sleep at 38 years old which I was only 16. She's probably listing to the Beatles or Elvis Presley up in heaven. Love ya mom

Excellent video, great memories. One correction: Hank Williams Jr. was shown instead of hid dad. This may have already been pointed out but I didn't dig too far in the comments. I subscribed today, great job.
Another great one some random guy. When your mother brought you to concerts that were all rock and roll even though you were a kid you grew up on these too. We had 45s and 78s and over 3000 albums. A turntable even had the Speed 16 and a half which nobody that I know seems to have any albums or even heard of it. Thanks again for the compilation.
Many of these I grew up with. Thinking of yesteryear. Wonderful songs I remember, Giving people pleasure and cheer. They paved the way for today’s Stars. Of that there is no doubt. A big thank you for sharing. What life for my generation Was all about,: ❤️❤️ Yvonne:
Thanks for the effort - but so many great names missing. Some commenters have added names - I'll add members of the Skyliners including Jimmy Beaumont.
Really miss all those great singers. You could understand the words. The sings had feeling. You knew all the words when you sang along. Compared to songs now a days
THANK YOU FOR THESE SONGS. EXCELLENT CHOICE. THERE WAS THE GOOD TIMES. CHARISMATIC SINGERS. AMAZING, TALENTED, LEGENDARY. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST YEARS OF MEMORIES IN MY LIFE AND THE MUSIC WAS AWESOME.
Thanks a lot for doing this! I'm a huge fan of 1950's songs especially Rock N roll Many of these people died so young! The only one that remains is Jerry Lee Lewis!
Bill Harlan is still among us today. Je recorded I wanna bop. And is still performing occasionally. And he recorded a new album a few years ago at RCA studio B in Nashville.
Again, it’s just your taste and it doesn’t mean today’s artists are bad. No need to insult them just because you don’t like them. You could have replaced “which is more than today’s crop will” with a period and with the words “Rest In Peace to these amazing musicians” and maybe I would’ve understood. Just enjoy the music
One mistake. The video you have for Hank Williams is NOT him. The video is of Hank Williams,Jr. There is several videos of Hank Sr. Out there. This is his Son, Hank Jr. Far as I know he’s still alive.
Vera Lynn is the oldest person to die at the age of 103 in some random guy history and Ritchie vallens is the youngest singer to die at some random guys history at the age of 17 fun fact they are in the same video and Louis Armstrong is the first ever musician in some random guy history to be born
It miss a few numbers : Conway Twitty Roy Orbison, Del Shannon, Bo Diddley, Bobby Vee, Danny and the Juniors, Jim Reeves, Johnny Burnett, Dinah Washington...
Wow, Little Richard lived more than twice as long as Elvis and almost twice as long as Nat King Cole. Surprised by how many died before 1970 and how many died after 2010. A more interesting video would be '50s musicians who are still alive.
Yo conozco la version de "Young Love" por Donny Osmond que fue un hit de 1973, pero los otros gran artistas que la interpretaron también lo hicieron bien Qepd Tab y Sonny

He also forgot in following: Johnny Ace, Guitar Slim, Jesse Belvin, Beverly Kenney, Sherman Garnes and Joe Negroni of Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, Niki Sulivan and Joe B. Mauldin of Buddy Holly & The Crickets, Dinah Washington, Jerry Lewis (not Jerry Lee Lewis, a diffrent dude), Johnnie Johnson (he played keyboards for Chuck Berry's Johnny B. Goode), Warren Smith, Bo Diddley and most importantly The Singing Sheriff himself Faron Young

A lot of them died to soon some of them where so young like buddy holly and Ritchie valens and Patsy cline they could of came out with so much more good music but things happen and it hurts to face the fact that they left this world so soon
