They'll take one in the early rounds definitely but I feel they address the DT need first since this class doesn't have nearly as much depth as the WR class does.
@@jackslord6834 I could definitely see them doing either of those, but I felt that CB class doesn't have that much depth left, while the WR class has depth all the way till the 4th maybe even 5th round
The first draft: Herbert will go to the Dolphins, Kinlaw will go higher, and where is Becton? The second draft: Wirfs is not the best lineman that’s Thomas and the Falcons trading up 9 spots is a big reach, also no way in hell we not taking McKinney if he’s there at 24 we need secondary help we lost Von Bell who was huge.
We always see these highly anticipated lineman fall in drafts, for example Jawaan Taylor last year, not to mention a lot of NFL scouts are already calling him a bust because his unique build
If you compare Wirfs to Thomas, Wirfs is more versatile than Thomas due to his size and speed. Wirfs is a good fit at right tackle but could play at either guard position because he is a little bit smaller and very fast. If you also look at the O-lines of both teams you can see Georgia had a much better O-line than Iowa, and they were in a tougher conference. Wirfs was one of the reasons Iowa was ranked for a long time during the season. To your point about the falcons is it a big reach, absolutely but there have been a lot of rumors of them trading up big for either Okudah or Henderson. Is it gonna happen maybe maybe not, but if they are gonna trade I see the Panthers or Cardinals as optimal trade up spots. Finally, I absolutely could see you guys taking McKinney at 24, however you guys did just sign Malcolm Jenkins who may not be in his prime anymore but is still a pretty good safety even at 32. You guys have a stellar right tackle in Ramczyk but your left tackle situation is a little iffy. Terron Armstead is small for a left tackle and is coming off of an injury. And since Brees is now 41 now is the time more than ever to protect the blindside and Cleveland is that pure left tackle you guys need.
