I would have put both Delina and BR 540 in the Superstar category. Overhyped they are, but you cannot deny their influence within the fragrance community. And, the fact that they've generated so many dupes and inspired by fragrances, that for me makes them superstar fragrances. .

Perfectly rated, can't agree more. 😂 I would really like videos similar to this one, where we can hear your opinion on a popular scents. Also, i really like your personality, humble and down to earth girl. Its really rare these days.

Really enjoyed the video, I actually like these rapid fire mini reviews just to get a very quick vibe on whether to get a sample or not. It helps a lot bc there are SO MANY out there and realistically it’s just not feasible to buy samples for all of them. From your lists, I actually agree with a lot of them, from the ones I either own or at least tried. I bought Bal d’Afrique bc of all the hype and it’s very nice and pleasant, although to me it does not smell like clean esthetic, weird, I smell sweet florals. It’s nice but I think I have worn it all of 1 single time. I just tend to reach for other frags in my ever growing collection. I have been binge watching your videos and really want to explore the Violet house, getting a discovery set. Lune Feline… I own it bc the hype…. But I don’t wear it for some reason. I tend to grab either Guerlain SDV or Guerlain Mon Exclusif, which I think is a better and smoother and more buttery predecessor to Mon Guerlain. Love Angels’ Share, smts it’s way too sweet, I’m thinking of maybe getting Hermes Ambre Narguilé, it’s a similar vibe with way less sweetness.

Overall a quite accurate ensemble, although there are some I'd change - mainly Red Tobacco, L'Homme à la Rose (would move both up), and Oud Satin Mood - wanna like that one but found it nauseating in a very intimate way 😅 Also, Grand Soir is simple, but that's part of the genius in it - it says more with less than many brands ever do

This was helpful for me- I tried Alexandre J Majestic Jardin and couldnt understand it until the weather got warm! Once that happened, I could detect the sour cherry and almond and loved it. I dont usually like much of what youtubers like so always searching for other suggestions.

I do not like them 😅 I absolutely love Angel's share and gris charnel too, my fall faves. I'd add God of fire to the superstars if I could, it's a must for the summer ☀️ And my to go low key clean scents are creed millesium imperial and le labo's another 13👌👌👌

I love Montale and Mancera. I don’t get the artificial thing everyone gets from it. It has a dna, but I don’t think it’s anymore synthetic than every other fragrance on the market, tbh. The oil content is actually quite high and they last forever. Better bang for your hard earned coin and reasonably priced, imo.

Merci pour ta vidéo. Juste mon opinion mais pour moi rien ne peut battre Boadicea/Roja/Fragrance du bois/PDM/Initio en termes d'overhype. La plupart de leurs trucs sont des dupes ultra chers et j'arrive toujours pas à croire que Boadicea avec Blue Sapphire vende un clone de Qurashi Blend à ce prix. J'ai aussi du mal avec la linéarité de Grand soir, je trouve Cartier Oud & Amber meilleur sur tous les plans mais c'est plus cher. Je suis d'accord sur le fait que Jovoy est très sous-côté.

Do try Oud Dream by Montale. The brand is known for thier nuclear power synthetic fragrances as you say, but I really like this one.

I now do understand the problem with Escentric Molecules (especially 01). 🤨 After paying full retail at a luxury niche store for almost 10 years, with Molecule 01 being my most complimented fragrance of all time, I took the risk and bought it discounted online for less than half the retail price. At a what I thought reliable shop where I'm ordering for more than 20 years now, with no problems at all so far. Till now. 🥴 My new Molecule 01 is completely different, almost just water, whereas the others always were very strong and longlasting. Not even remotely close. Apparently there own words are true after all (i.e. Escentric Molecules company): "Escentric Molecules is only sold by stores who do have at least 1 real (i.e. physical) store as well, not online shops only."... 🤔 In other words, many people will have these fake Molecules, thinking of it as just a very overpriced, extremely light Iso Super only (whereas the real 01 has a lot more to offer, like niche quality oil, extra pheromone like aroma's, etc.). Probably the same with other Escentric Molecules.

Hacivat is NOT overhyped. It's a killer chypre that belongs in any serious fragrance collection. The oak moss note is intoxicating.

Yep Van Cleef and Arpels is a designer brand but pricewise is a niche. Hacivat and Desir toxic do not deserve the hype IMO. I would add Amouage's Interlude and Jubilation XXV Man on Super Stars.

Naxos is not a unique/original scent so it cannot be a superstar? Portrait of a lady is a modern classic, so I guess that one would deserve the spot in the superstar section. Also, we all know that Initio is a dupe brand, and so it Marly... (Mancera and Montale)... and so so strange no to see shalimar mentioned here. I am so glad you like Akro fragrances, which I think is the most creative brand of the decade, and since you like gourmands, it is, will be, full of gourmands.
