Hearing nux repeatedly misunderstanding the Monsterverse is just hilarious. Godzilla never purposely attacked human cities in this lore. The cities like San Francisco were just in his way as he was going about his “beating other Kaiju” business. In fact I believe he never attacked Japan in this canon.

Godzilla in MonsterVerse tends to not give a crap about humanity unless they do something stupid, like give King Ghidorah a second body. The rest of the time, he either A: Sleeps or B: Smacks the other Titans down whenever they get it in their heads to start messing with humanity. Because he gave them all the order to shut up and go back to sleep, and disobeying is treason.

He was one of the two co-creators of Shin Godzilla. In March 2015, Toho announced that the film would be co-directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi (who both collaborated on the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion), in addition to Anno writing the screenplay and Higuchi directing the film's special effects.

@@basicallynameless6804 Muto prime was killed in a canon comic by Godzilla. It might have been in 2014, just after he killed the other two. I think Space Godzilla has a good chance of being the next big bad, since he’s hinted at throughout GxK. Also Biolante could be one as Allan Jonah’s backstory works perfectly and humans are supposed to play a bigger antagonistic role than ever.

@@zinogre6225 spacegodzilla wasn't hinted at. The movie makes it painfully clear the "godzilla who ate a star" IS godzilla himself. That's just how the iwi interpretate the atomic breath. As bright as a star. Biollante has a higher chance than spacegodzilla does. The designer for shimo/mechagodzilla even stated spacegodzilla was never discussed at any point.

The movies specifically related to this lore. The "monsterverse" are in order: - godzilla 2014 - kong skull island - godzilla king of the monsters - godzilla vs Kong - Godzilla x kong A multitude of comics and shows also are part of this. Such as: Monarch legacy of monsters. One of the greatest channels related to this is Goji Center. An entire channel dedicated to explaining and experimenting on the kaiju found in mostly the monsterverse. Now godzilla didnt entirely attack Japan in this universe. He just showed up to the bombing to eat the radiation.

Goji-Center is not the best at this, they are overhyped and get many things wrong, they focus on their gory animations and battle analysis more than actual accuracy tbh You’re better off watching Dangervile which while isn’t perfect either they tend to get their information right more often than not, they are just not good with vs battles but then again neither is Goji-Center.

To be a bit clear, The MonsterVerse Godzilla didn't terrorize Japan at all and seems like both the last and strongest of his kind. Titans are intelligent though some moreso than others. They're at the very least sapient enough to know what they're doing most of the time. the MonsterVerse is just one Godzilla Continuity, one that crossed over with King Kong. They fought before in an earlier version but that's from way way back. They aren't always the same and there's been multiple Continuities by now, typically divided into eras though there are some more standalones. The main ones are: -The Showa Era -The Millenium Era -The Heisei Era -The Final Wars Godzilla -The American Zilla -the Shin Godzilla -The Anime Trilogy Godzilla/Godzilla Earth -The MonsterVerse/Legendary Godzilla Each are different and have different symbolism attached. Shin Godzilla more represents Japanese Negligence in response to disasters, Godzilla Earth is a hyperevolved Organism who evolved to take over the Earth's Ecosystem, and Showa is a mostly benevolent Protector of Earth. Those are just a few. I'd honestly love to see Nux get more into Godzilla, it's just serious enough for analysis while also silly enough for fun.

It isn’t Biblical God that would be referring to the God Mountain but that’s not a solid statement. The God Mountain is still the God of Godzilla idw’s multiverse who has made it, and The demon at the end is the God Demon who made Hell and is the strongest there, but God Mountain is just an avatar for the true form of God, This God is creator of the IDW Megaverse.

Also you don't know how accurate the "I am atomic" line is. Godzilla's breath weapons is literally called atomic breath and spoiler godzilla bit off a head of Ghidorah and destroyed it using his atomic breath after getting super charged by Mothra and using an atomic pulse while unlocking Godzilla's form of Super Saiyan.

This is SOULY to the monsterverse, there are dozens of other godzilla incarnations that have other story's and lore, like the first godzilla movie ever is about godzilla being awoken by ww2 bombing and rose up to perch humanity for their actions. Hey Nux, there are three Godzilla anime movies on Netflix and their lore is staggeringly different than the monsterverse stuff. Downright the most terrified I've ever been of anything is how I felt when they introduced Ghidorah. Not saying you should do a video on it if you don't want to but I really recommend watching it, thanks for the lore videos you do, they really help me get through my insomnia nights.

OG Godzilla was wild. It was mad of all the atomized remains of humans and their souls fusing together into an algae mass just off shore when the bombs dropped. Eventually that algae mass evolved into an oversized reptile that was a walking nuclear reactor. The new stuff rewrites world history across the planet.

To my knowledge, godzilla is pretty neutral in terms of morality. His main role is kind of to maintain balance in nature. He doesn't go out of his way to kill humans, but he also doesn't go out of his way to protect them either. He will attack humans if they start to mess stuff up though, like when he sense they were making a mechagodzilla using one of king ghidorah's heads

also there is something humans have to not only counter goji but outright kill him. The 50s original goji was killed by the oxygen destroyer and while it didn't kill monsterverse goji it did put him out of the fight and he would've taken years to recover

they said godzilla were there to keep the balance between nature. They arent evil they are neutral. As long as humankind arent destroying nature more than they need to survive godzilla will leave them alone. its when they start cutting down entire forests or dumping large amounts of oil into the ocean does he attack them. Or when they attempt to control another titan.
