No giant builds, genuine accidental mistakes, no shouting-like commentary, editing actually Minecraft gameplay and not much replay mod, no capital captions, no fantasy non-vanilla plots, just usual Minecraft gameplay that is relatable and recognised by everyone.
yeah. why do people be yelling. like damn, it's not that serious. very nice. i enjoyed watching this. curious to see if you made it into a LP that i can see more details of. love that.
I just love the noobness at the beginning like how he didn’t know what the deep dark was, how to farm, how he didn’t even see the raid. It was truly refreshing
@@FrozyCraftyou just have to dig two blocks down beside it then one underneath the dragon egg thing place a torch in the block two blocks beneath the dragon egg then break the block above the torch.
watching someone play minecraft knowing little to nothing about it is always really fun for me, this was awesome! it's also pretty refreshing seeing a "100 days" series without giant, over-the-top builds planned; keeps the content relatable for people who don't have the experience or time to work on similar projects

I see my step-son play this all the time. He builds pirate ships. I never knew about all this and am starting my own game tonight! So excited to farm and build pens!! Thanks for helping me understand my family better 💜
@@FrozyCraftik this was a year ago but I love you appreciate everyone that watches your videos and check the comments and don't let other people that have more subs bring you down you just earned a sub and a like
Watching this just really made me appreciate how far Minecraft has come and how normalised being an absolute pro at the game is. It’s refreshing to see somebody more relatable than those who get full diamond in the first few days. Keep up the good work
Grabbing those emeralds with stone pickaxe on 5:17 is wild. I love to see new people on Minecraft, and sometimes i wish i could remove the Minecraft experience from my mind, only for a day, to start a new world and have goosebumps reaching the achievements for the first time, discovering the new things... Minecraft are awesome, the most atemporal game and for me, the definition of how something simple can be beautiful and good.
I had no idea about the emeralds at the time. I’ve seen a lot of ppl say they wish they could do the same. Nothing like experiencing a game for the first time! Thanks for checking out the vid 🙏🏼
Its so fun watching someone play on a similar level as me, its gets pretty boring as you watch other youtubers build mega castles on their first day so this is very refreshing (more so when your home design is exactly what I build most of the time. Thanks for being so down on earth and dont forget your first subscribers once you are famous!
It’s funny because I was expecting most people to be disappointed about lack of building and such but it seems most everyone has preferred it. More relatable I suppose. Super cool to see, but hey thanks for watching and leaving your thoughts, much appreciated! 🙌🏼
Ditto. I'm too embarrassed to upload. I can stay alive but I cannot enchant. Seems easy...Easier said than done for me.😊So, I still try. I've even asked my kids, is there a book. They say you can go online. I'm old school, I like picking up a book to find my information. But I find enjoyment when watching others play Minecraft!
Honestly this is really refreshing, every other person who I’ve seen do 100 days is an absolute veteran, super interesting to see someone approach this game in the same format with none of the knowledge
I was left in genuinely disbelief that he only has 800+ subscribers. I could never watch over an hour video on Minecraft, but he had me glued to the screen. I personally like the pace in the video & his slight knowledge of the game itself since I can relate to his level. I honestly got hooked within a minute and knew it was going to be good when I could barely get 5 minutes in from other RU-vidrs who created similar videos as this. I got excited that I had to show my best friend within a minute into the video, he’s basically new and I got him to join me on a server to eventually beat the game for our first time and try to get the achievements. This video helped enlighten me on how I should play through the game. Thank you, from a new subscriber x
That’s so cool to hear. I had 0 subscribers 2 weeks ago.. absolutely blown away by the support and amount of comments from people saying they’ve enjoyed watching. I’m happy you found it relatable and thanks for sharing this!
That was such a genuine Minecraft experience, the mistakes, the "shitty" and whacky starter builds and farms, the bugs and the discovery. I had some good laughs during the video and it was really nice to see someone not tryharding and just having fun and doing silly things as well. Keep up the good content man, I'm looking forward to it!
Finally a "100 days" minecraft video where the player got no full netherite, elytra etc. within the first 10 days and just spends the other days by building massive mob farms or whatever.. Thank you so much for that! I really like the style of your videos, the calm narrating, the humor and so on, so I subscribed and am looking forward to your future projects :)
I suppose you've confused a hundred days with something else. wings are obtained after the battle with the dragon, and the dragon only before the final or in the final...
This level of confusion with the game was so familiar when I started playing Minecraft back in 2022. The warden is the only boss that makes your gear useless. The only way to go through an ancient city is to loot it in silence. The Warden was never meant to be killed. Though I feel this dedication you had with wanting to beat him. This is genuinely good content for a 100 days of Minecraft gameplay.
Ah yes, I definitely figured that out after trying multiple times to kill the Warden 😅 my buddy thought I was crazy for trying it. Thanks for tuning in!
Tip. When making potions you can use all 3 bottle slots and it wont take any extra resources. So when you made one potion per brewing session it really messed with me because I thought you were wasting resources.
This video perfectly represents my own Minecraft adventure so far. I've also played before but never really got too into it until just recently. I've been watching a lot of Minecraft playthroughs and SMP's lately and they have inspired me to explore the game and try my hand at some builds too. It's super refreshing to see someone go through and overcome similar struggles as I have in my Minecraft experience. This was a lot of fun to watch and now I really am looking forward to taking on the Ender Dragon for the first time too.
You definitely learned really fast, and did super well very early on considering you built in one of the tougher biomes. You really kicked ass on this and I can't wait to see a long term world! You also got some decent talent at making buildings look nice and I bet any mega builds you do would look stellar!
thanks princessstacii! There was a lot to learn, still is 😅, but definitely feel a lot better about my MC knowledge. Also pretty cool to hear you liked my builds bc I thought they were horrid at first 😂 more builds and adventures to come!
You just have a knack for decor blocks! Trap doors, fence post and leaves are like something fWhip does to polish builds and that man's a master builder ! Also I'd HIGHLY suggest his channel for build inspiration! It's really made me take my worlds up a few levels
Great video. It’s nice to watch someone just casually play without all the theatrics present in a lot of Minecraft content these days. Also thank you for not cramming shitty pre-prescribed jokes and puns between every other line of the script.
2:03 Wild berries are fruit that grow in bushes, mostly in taigas. Each wild berry restores 2 hunger points. If you walk straight through a wild berry bush, you will start receiving damage. (1 Health point per second) Hope this was useful.
I can't even imagine how much time has put into these videos, all the recording, then voiceover for every single day and not even speaking about editing. Glad to see all your hard work is paying off.
I usually don't watch 100 days videos but you are really good with storytelling, you don't have the annoying hype youtuber way of talking. You make fun commentary and it's entertaining without overly exaggerating everything. You're awesome and definitely deserve more subs, keep it going!
19:55 I envy you and your world seed so much. You ran in like 5 dungeons, the warden, got a raid where you casually shrugged off and left, and now the best nether spawn ever.
It's so rejuvenating and refreshing to watch someone learn about the game on the go. I agree with Marshal, these days, though equally enjoyable and interesting, "100 Days" series are, at least in my opinion, too full of humongous builds and build plans for the next episodes, should they come out or not. I feel like these almost two hours you have given us passed in a matter of seconds. I really appreciate your figuring out the mechanics and specifics of certain game aspects before jumping on the Wiki site. To me, "100 Days" has always been about this - you step into the world and simply play the game as you like, whether you have some building planned or not, whether you want to actually dispatch the ender dragon or not, you do you. Overall, I found it really enjoyable and I hope your channel gets more recognition. Also, kudos to you for naming the movie in such a way, I instantly felt dragged to it, and you delivered the experience I was kinda expecting (of course, I'm not saying I expected the worst from no, oh no, never. I knew I was watching a video of someone who might not have a huge deal of experience). It was fun!
This is an extremely valuable comment and I appreciate you watching and taking a moment to leave feedback. I’m so glad you enjoyed it my friend, definitely keeping all this in mind going forward 🙌🏼
Just things I was trying to telepathically let you know during the video: the warden isn't meant to be killed, it has 500 pts of health compared to the 200 of the ender dragen and 300 of the wither. Also when killed it will only drop one skulk sensor and 5 XP. The devs have said that it's not meant to be killed, it's meant to be avoided. The blue guys are allays if you give them a block (left click on PC) they will push all of that block they find lying around to you. If you want the block you gave to them back just left click on them again. The berries are awesome beginning game food and they can be farmed, but be careful, the bushes have thorns. If you're having trouble finding sheep of the same color get some flowers and turn them to dye. You can then dye the wool to all be the same color.
Thanks for the tips Ollie! I didn’t know about the flowers/dye one yet, I’ll have to try that. Definitely never taking out the Warden but I figured I’d give it my best shot 😅
Dude has the perfect mindset for a Minecraft player. Not afraid to take risks and lose all of the things they have been working towards for hours. Even though he didn’t know much about the game he still did very good.
Brand new to minecraft. I've been playing for maybe two months, and I found this beyond relatable. I've been enjoying minecraft RU-vid content, but actually found that I only liked one person's content consistently. Whenever I watch someone else's, I find myself switching the video to something else halfway through. I really enjoyed a casual player, playing a normal 100 days. You've gained a subscriber.
I’ve never laughed that much from a Minecraft video. The simple jokes, calm tone, funny situations- just great. Keep up the good work, man. Grateful I discovered you.❤️🙏🏻
for the farming bit on day 9: water reaches a 9x9 square of farmland centered on itself, so you could have gotten away with fewer streams of water or even just using the bucket and making a 9x9 field around one block of water
@@FrozyCraft a lot of people put a waterlogged slab on the top half of the water so they can walk on it and light up the center crops while still keeping them watered also, if you have multiple types of crops, planting different types next to each other, like in rows, will make them grow a little faster
Technically you don't even need water to grow crops, they grow it just takes longer to mature. I've grown crops waterless in my treehouses in several saves.
I hope someone at Mojang saw this because this is a perfect example of how some aspects of the game are not intuitive at all. I was thinking about the enderchest and the shulkerboxes. It's a cool aspect of the game and glad you eventually figured it out. I think for the most part you did a great job and you sought help from tutorials when necessary. I did feel bad you lost all your stuff to the warden though, regardless this was really fun to watch, you did great!
Somehow this is the most charming and fun 100 days challenge premise I've seen. There are a lot of fun ones, but you really can't beat experiencing something for the first time.
@@FrozyCraft It's been a long Christmas Eve. I started this video ten hours ago and was only able to finish it now. It was a lot of fun and I would be really interested in watching another of you playing in this world :)
That fortress luck, it reminds me of old nether when you could make a portal anywhere and 9/10 times you would be in the nether fortress. Wonderful home and nether spawn. Good on you learning minecraft after so many updates and not dying to the Warden
This may well be the single most entertaining Minecraft video I’ve ever watched, and I have probably hundreds of hours of Minecraft content under my belt 😂 absolutely smashed this one mate, you’ve earned my sub!! 🙌
just so you know: shulkers (the box things) drop[ shells and combine them with a chest to make a portable one, berries are good early game food and there aree resource packs for fullbright so you dont need torches or night vis to see. Hope to see a 200 days!
Keep in mind that you still need a light source to keep mobs from spawning; just because you can see everything without a problem doesn't mean that nothing can spawn!
Little tip if you want to cure a zombie villager you need a name tag so they don’t despond. And to get a name tag you can find them in mineshafts then you can cure them.
I enjoyed this so much, it's like seeing Minecraft with 'fresh eyes' once again! I would totally love a 100-200 day video where you tackle a Bastion, make a base in a different biome, find a desert temple, get Netherite (again), or any of the other many Minecraft things - seeing the foibles along the way makes it so relatable.
So awesome to hear! I definitely would like to adventure a bit more into other biomes on my next run. This seed was great but most of everything I needed was not too far off, like the fortress. I’ll keep those things in mind for my next 100 day video. Thanks for watching!
The fact that I though you had millions of subscribers just sums up that your content has a lot of potential. I played your vid on the background while playing minecraft myself and all i can say is you nailed it!
You’ve got some obvious talent for commentary, your voice is the perfect tone, makes it easy to listen to you talk for so long. I love long form 100 days minecraft videos but most ppl like to yell which is unpleasant to me. Please keep making content!! 😊
thanks kissykat11! I myself can understand the appreciation of a more tame commentary. It gets rather old listening to your own voice over and over during editing, so it's cool to see a comment like this one.
Enjoyed your video! I subscribed in hopes you will continue your MineCraft adventure. Just don’t look up too many tutorials in the meantime please. I enjoy watching people learn how to play by at least trying to figure out stuff before resorting to professional tutorials. Of course for complex things such as automatic farms it’s completely understandable to immediately follow a tutorial! You did a lot better than most in their first full 100 days so I imagine by the time you reach a 1000 days of total time played you will be really good! Your editing & narrating skills are great. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Rogue Wolf. I really enjoyed learning as I went and tried figuring things out before jumping on the wiki. This goes for any game really, it’s fun not knowing things and just playing the game. Next play through, I plan on recording more live commentary to capture more of those moments where I’m just completely lost on how to do stuff. Thanks again for watching 😄
@@FrozyCraft I was just coming down here to say the same thing as Rogue, I really enjoyed watching the progression and trying to figure it out without doing tutorials first. Definitely looking forward to more of this series, great video man!
@@FrozyCraft Yes! U shouldn't learn everything In the game because it will not be fun playing it.I did this mistake and I regret it now.Because I know everything I'm bored from Minecraft poor me 😭
I suggest getting mending on all of your equipment EXCEPT for your bow because infinity is what you want on your bow, infinity basically gives you infinite arrows, mending repairs tools and armour and even your elytra with xp! I loved watching the whole thing and it reminded me of the first time I played terraria a couple years ago! Looking forward to 200 days!❤❤ You can collect all music discs and complete every achievement for 200 days or you can just explore and burn down an entire woodland mansion
That's a good tip, and thank you for actually giving me some ideas for a 200 days 😅 seen a lot of comments asking for it but not many mentioning what I should actually do, so thank you 🙏
Thanks for a great 100 days video Frozy. It was exciting watching someone navigate MC that was not an expert. What this video showed was just how exciting and diverse the MC world actually is. There are just so many ways to die. I look forward to seeing more MC content in the future.
My fave way to do farms like wheat & carrots is to put a source of water & then go 4 blocks in every direction because a single source block can fertilize that many!
I am someone who loves the competitive scene of games, however, you and your video made me appreciate the “mundane” part of a game which I haven’t been able to do for a long long time. Thank you. Edit: also… Comment for the bloody algorithm!
I enjoyed watching this video so much. Loved that you played the game however you wanted to, changing the difficulty to peaceful at times or just doing what you wanted in general for exemple. I've watched many Minecraft playthroughs/videos over the years and this felt like one of the most genuine ones. Really looking forward to seeing more content from you, hopefully very soon:)
only on day 4 and this makes me so genuinely happy. i always find myself wishing i could forget my extensive minecraft knowledge and experience it all for the first time again. seeing someone encounter the deep dark for the first time was way better than i expected, i never thought it could be that terrifying omg. this is so much fun to watch and im genuinely hyped to watch your other stuff. youre bringing some really unique stuff to the mcyt scene rn!! 🥺
I always love playing Minecraft with someone and they ask “hey, what’s this weird bluish teal stuff in this cave?” I just end up widening my eyes and saying “be careful, don’t make too much noise, I’m coming over to help”
If I could play 1 game for the first time again, it would be Minecraft. Watching this video I can feel your innocence & inexperience, the curiosity. I miss having that feeling in Minecraft.
@@FrozyCraft Frozy, Frozy, Frozy, it is me who should be thanking you for releasing your videos. They sometimes help me sleep, I mean its like a whole movie, do upload more, how about a video of showcasing the Minecraft mod, MCA reborn- Minecraft Comes Alive, it's a mod that you can get a job, have kids, get married all of the reality features
as someone who’s been playing since pre alpha, this is such a breathe of fresh air to watch, i love and adore all the OG mc youtubers but watching someone brand new to the game discover and learn all the ins and outs is so cool and entertaining to watch, you’ve earned yourself a new sub my friend
Watching someone play mostly blind is cool. Reminds me of playing back in alpha and either there wasn’t a wiki yet, or I just didn’t know about it. Experimenting with the crafting and accidentally crafting things, or figuring out a pattern was so satisfying. The sense of discovery was immense even though it was pretty barebones back then compared to now.
I"ve been playing minecraft for 8 years now and it took me 4 or 5 of those years to beat the ender dragon in survival for the first time. The fact that you did it on the first world after not playing for years amazes me. Congrats.
I can’t express just how much I enjoyed your video. I really look forward to future videos. I know these videos take a ton of work editing. I think some live streams would be fun to watch with less time needed to edit
Thanks Casey! Very happy to hear people have been enjoying it. They indeed are long projects but had a blast making it! More videos in the works and will consider the streaming thing 🙂
From noob to amateur? Absolutely. BTW, rotten flesh can be used as an emergency food source in a pinch. Kinda makes you sick for a while, but better than nothing. You're good with the story telling too.
1:04:50 every Minecraft Player will know how it feels stressed, tired, angry, and sad when we are just lose the best item that hard to get but this make Minecraft so Special we can get both emotions and happiness
The Wither fight in this video is definitely my favorite. Most RU-vidrs cheese It or they're so OP, they destroy It in a few hits! Well done surviving and putting up an enjoyable fight.
I hope your channel grows well my friend, I enjoy play throughs like this a lot and yours is up there with the others I enjoy watching, subscriber no°189, I hope you get many many more, keep up the good work 💪💪💪
I typically struggle to watch really long videos, but I watched the whole video! It took a few days to watch all of it, but whenever I had the time to watch it, my eyes would not leave the screen. This was an amazing series, and I can’t wait to see future videos and series from you! Good job, very proud of you! -Slotha_
Very entertaining video, watched the whole thing through in one sitting. I myself could personally never get this far in a world, I always get way too picky about where my base might be. I'm really hoping you can make 200 days. Also, here are some tips: 1. At 20:49, you got the Otherside music disc from a Stronghold chest. That's very rare, with only a 2.5% chance, so you should go back there and grab that. 2. Each water source block will hydrate farmland in a 9x9 area around itself. You can also put a slab on the upper part of the water to prevent freezing and allow you to put a torch to light things up, or a lantern could be placed in the water to do the same thing. 3. Regarding the Beacon, you can put an iron ingot in the slot to spend it and give yourself a permanent effect in a certain area. Since you only have a 3x3 base of iron blocks under it, you'll only be able to get Speed 1 or Haste (increases mining speed) 1. To increase the power of the beacon, you'll need to add a 5x5 base under the 3x3 base, then a 7x7 base under the 5x5 one, then a 9x9 base at the very bottom. 4. You can make your own Iron Golem by placing down a T of 4 iron blocks and putting a Carved Pumpkin on top, and just like that, personal bodyguard. You can even move them around with leads. 5. You can tame wolves by right-clicking them with bones a couple times and they'll help you fight mobs. Just make sure they don't get blown up by a Creeper.
Wow thanks for the tips! First one I’ve seen about the beacon so super valuable info there. I’m finding myself a bit more picky about my base setup on my new play through. Definitely not something I gave much consideration the first play through 😁
I knew 4/5 of these. I had no idea you could make your own personal iron golem. That's amazing and I'm definitely doing that in the future, lol. Thanks!
@@FrozyCraft Some more tips: -You can feed rotten flesh to heal your pet wolves, and their tails go higher in the air the more health they have -You can make a 2x2 gateway of lightning rods for the entrance to a base, as the AI for mobs doesn't know how to enter through them but you can, and it's better than doors because some mobs can open doors and some zombies can break doors on Hard difficulty -The last raider for that Raid was probably underground somewhere, just right-click on a bell to make all raiders in a radius around itself glow, the glowing is also visible through walls
@@kasper_429 There's an advancement for making one. Next time you play Minecraft, open up the advancement menu and look around, you might learn something.
It hurt to see the stuff disappear even though it wasn’t me Ik it took forever to get that stuff and Ik that always happens when I play Minecraft bc i don’t play it that much anymore but I started again and it’s hard just to get blaze rods for me so I don’t think your a noob you amazing and even got a elytra and a lot of diamonds keep up the good work I hope you see this. (I will definitely try to watch all your videos bc it fun to watch ur videos bc they are more different then most
dudee this is phenomenal lol 😂 i lost it when you try to trade with zombified pigleons WITH RAW GOLD 🤣 keep it up, new subscribers here! Love your content, hope you reach your first 10K by the end of this year💪
The tripwire hook can be combined with a string and can detect any entity movement on it. The rotten flesh can be sold to the cleric (villager profession that uses brewing stand), with 32 rotten flesh making 1 emerald. If you want another trades with the villager you can break his work block and place it again. If you haven't traded with him his trades will reset. This is good if you are in search of a mending (enchantment that repairs armors and tools as you gain xp) book. If you trade with him then he won't change professions or trades. Also, there is a way to make villagers' prices lower. If a zombie attacks the villager it becomes a zombie villager, then you cure him (the villager) using weakness potion (preferably use the splash potion, you can make those using gunpowder) and a golden apple. In normal difficulty there is a 50% chance that the villager will die if the zombie attacks him, while in hard mode it drops to 0%. If you want easy xp you should do an enderman farm. Search on RU-vid and will find some good ones. And about your carrot farm and wheat farm... Water can wet 4 blocks in any direction, meaning you can do a 9x9 farm and place water in the middle (making a 81 blocks farm with 80 blocks of farmable land). Sadly melons and pumpkins don't work efficiently if you do this way. You can search the Eyecraftmc's video on crop farming. About the animals farm, if you think there is still time you could separate each animal into their own places, it think it's more efficient. I don't know if you are going back to the ancient city as in the time I comment this I didn't watch the full video, but I recommend using wool as building blocks, as they make no sound for the sculk sensors. Hope you make 200 days and more, good luck bro!
Wow thanks for writing this up! Lots of helpful tips here that I wasn’t aware of. The tripwire hook one and villager trading especially. Will have to remember that next time. Thanks again! 🙌🏼
the zombie pigman gold trading incident was honestly so adorable and endearing🤣😭 as a veteran mc player who's been playing minecraft regularly for the last 15 years or so, seeing someone who DOESNT know everything there is to know about mc is always really lovely to me, it reminds me of how it felt experiencing the game for the first time.. i remember it so well, on my older cousins xbox 360, i made a two block tall house completely out of glowstone, ceiling and walls, bricks for floor, and a balcony full of water and squids🤣 all on top of a mountain... there's nothing quite like playing minecraft for the first time.. the wonder of discovery...!
i laughed so hard at the way you narrated the fox chicken fiasko LMAO, and at so many other points in the video. You have a refreshing sense of humor and i subbed, definitely keep at it! great stuff :)
The villager getting absolutely annihilated had me in a laughing FIT😂😩. Love seeing newcomers playing Minecraft with little to no knowledge; so refreshing from seeing the veterans play.
This video was absolutely smoooth .... I subscribed..... This guy is a legend he responds to each and every comment that's absolutely unbelievable.... Hats off to you Mate ...
You had me the moment i saw the title. This is just the kind of content i love to have on the utter chaos that ensued as well X) X) Please, pleaase tell me you'll post more videos like this cause im hooked. Idc if you continue in this world, do a one boime or what I will watch it from start to finish. Anyway rant over, good video!
I know you are new but man those job spawner a you destroyed killed me!!! Especially since one of them was a skele spawner most likely! Lol great vid man!
Hi! Yes Im a year late, no that doesnt mean I cant comment. The blue stuff you saw, is called “sculk”. The shrieking was to tell you the monster that spawned. (The blue one). It is called the “warden” and its blind so it cant see you, but it can hear you, so thats why you shouldn’t try make noise. The “sculk” can give you xp by mining it with a hoe. Hope this helps :)
on day 15 you were "further" than i ever was lol. i've never quite killed wither skeletons or blaze rods but i've been playing for 8 years or so on and off
Wow, you reply to all the comments on your old/first video and you still reply to comments that say bad things to you.aww....man you get big respect from me ❤😊
I'm gonna point out stuff you did in day 1. 1. Making an iron helmet It's not a bad idea but with that iron you could've made an iron pickaxe early and you know its important. 2. The sheep color You can easily just find 3 of the same flowers and they will all be the same color
Love how he's actually relpying to everyone, btw I subscribe, this video is better than the other Minecraft series until they beat minecraft (some of the players do that, which is getting kind of annoying and boredom) this video just gave me joy and more knowledge about the game ❤ thanks
