There are many reasons to why I'm not making any more
but here are the ones that I can enumerate.
1. It takes too much time; These videos take months to make and I don't have the motivation to sink in that much time for one video.
2. It's too stressful; The videos have many parts which are very complex.
As I am still a solo creator it puts a lot of pressure on me (This doesn't mean that these videos would continue even if I get help, refer to no. 3)
3. Like in no. 1, lack of motivation and novelty (to me). The original reason this series ever started was because I wanted to try new ideas that I haven't done. Compounded with the work load over a year of time, it's too monotonous to me now.
In the novelty part, the informational part was my idea to add on to the videos to make them more unique. There are probably people who wouldn't mind the just plain 100 days but I find it a little boring.
This doesn't mean new ideas that are not related to 100 days can be suggested. Infact, I encourage them.

The motivation and ideas just come as you go. As someone who mainly plays Minecraft Beta 1.2 for simple Survival, I must say that once your big projects like your giant wood houses with the occasional cobblestone accents start coming along nicely, you just really want to continue building it because of how rewarding it feels and how it just overall spices up the overall world by it just standing there. The challenge of having to make your stuff look good by actually thinking about which details are where is also a lot of fun, the game makes you think a lot more about what you're actually doing in those early versions.

You should definitely continue into releases, especially while you still have this much enthusiasm for Minecraft, it will continue to bring in new viewership like me for example, I came to your channel because these videos are unique and informative. Also for many of us Minecraft players, nostalgic, as these releases (alpha and beta) are the ones I used to play as a kid and love revisiting them again.

Man this video gives me immense nostalgia. I started playing the game during the Beta days and it's crazy to me that I still remember exactly what was added in each version. I consistently played Minecraft from 2011-2021, but I haven't found myself playing the game even a single time in 2022 which is the first time in over a decade that I've taken this long of a break. 6:31 this was around the time Jeb joined the team, and the first mob he made was the squid which was made from the AI of the cow. unfortunately he forgot to remove the milk function so you could milk squids.

The Xbox 360 Edition was my very first exposure to Minecraft, I'm glad they started with the beta versions of the game, I really liked the old balance before they added hunger and stacked food. Detail: Beta 1.8 is a big version because it was the last one before the Oficial Minecraft Release in 2012, so they took all efforts to fix giant errors like the Far Lands, and to add critical necessary things like a new lightning system and sprint as walking on beta was slow, the hunger system is to make it fair. (1.8.1 is a little last fix, not a new beta, as it only changed the build number) Another point: There was never a far lands FULL removal, they only moved the far lands from the 32 BIT limit, to the new 64 BIT limit (some quintrillions away), and mojang is fixing the long distance effects to this day, like the old weird movement you had when passing by 400k blocks, today this don't happen, you can check how they are planning to move the 1.8 release Border from 30M to at least 2 Billion by the update logs of versions like 1.16.5.

I think it's crazy that I watched through the whole alpha video and beta video trying to remember when exactly I started playing Minecraft myself, only to get the very end and realize that it was beta 1.8 when I started playing. There were a lot instances that made me think "Oh it was this version!", but kept being reminded that I knew for a fact that food could stack. Although I suppose that it should have been pretty easy to figure out because I never had a PC forever, and so I first played Minecraft on the Xbox 360.

100 Days in Alpha and Beta were amazing videos! Alpha 1.1.2 is my fave Alpha version and Beta 1.3 is my fave Beta version. Been playing in Alpha and Beta since about June 2018, and it's been lots of fun. Got a massive Storage room with a Hostile Mob system in the middle.(Inspired by Ethoslab) It rewarding when you plan out things you want to do in your world instead of going about it willy nilly, but then again spontaneity can breed creativity as well! :D

it's a work in progress right now but i don't have a solid release date. all i can say is that i'm currently editing it :)

@@jasonthesmarty I still remember that feeling when I first played MineCraft. My first cousin show me it in September of 2010. When I was 13 years old. I still make myself feel that when I start up an new world or go back to an old one. It's my favorite game of all time. I must have about 20,000 hours in the game since 2010. The first RU-vidr I watch on MineCraft was Ethoslab specially his Let's Play. I think he is my favorite RU-vidr ever but, since I started watch your two 100 days videos today you bring back those great memoirs of the old MineCraft. Thank you man for that. It was the started of the Golden Age of MineCraft.
