Quick tip of advice; it's a good idea to try and defeat some of the lesser mobs that can spawn from the environment or player interactions, such as afrits and reapers. Not only will you learn more about them, but you'll also be able to summon them yourself to aid in battle using a staff crafted from an ender pearl, a bone, and a gold ingot.

Props to this guy for literally surviving the direst of situations (get plunged into ocean at night because a bird pick you up, nether trips goes out safely, and the cave close calls). You are really good at this, ShadowMech!

The best part about this channel is it always has new and unique introduction.

The seagull things are actually more like pelicans. They try to pick you up and eat you. If I remember correctly, they also give you an effect that makes you unable to jump or swim and as they hang around seas and beaches, they can drop you in water making you sink and drown. They can also be tamed with avian treats. When you have an avian treat in your hand they’ll approach but not attack… I think. If I remember correctly…

Try using spartan weapons like a nunchaku or spear and, also, you can upgrade your shield to iron to increase the amount of hit it can take before being knocked out.

Shrimp guy “the krake” is blind and only attacks if a player sprints near it otherwise it only attacks if attacked. The four legged desert things “jousts” are aggressive only if following an alpha (an alpha is red (usually) and bigger), if they don’t have an alpha close by they’re peaceful until you attack them or an alpha appears and starts commanding them. Alphas are aggressive even if alone and also attack other alphas on sight.

Monsters from hell can and will spawn in lava source blocks. If there’s a block that’s on fire, it will spawn fire monsters. They’re good for keeping warm but also good for demon summoning.

You need to place down a torch on a block so it’s not pitch black. Holding it doesn’t count as it’s not actual lighting considered by the code because it doesn’t have a source block.

51:27 you can also make backpacks with leather! Which would be useful to carry some extra stuff! All you need is 7 leather, one gold and one wool. Place 7 leather around the crafting table with two rooms on the middle and up middle part. Put gold in the middle and wool above it, boom a backpack! It's like a shulker you can carry extra things but you have to carry em in your back, so you can't wear any chest plates while carrying ur backpack

as someone that plays a lot of rlcraft i dont understand how you didnt die in a lot of the moments of death you were in. im guessing you scaled down the damage which is totally fine or are just insanely lucky. i enjoy your content a lot n cant wait for the next video :-)

Your style of opening is hands down one of my favorites of RU-vidrs.

You can make a sleeping bag which only requires 3x wool, put those wool horizontally and you'll get a sleeping bag! It let's you sleep for the night and didn't do anything about your respawn point. Y'know? When your bed is broken you lost your respawn point but when your sleeping bag is broken you don't lose your respawn point Hope this helps :)

You can make planks by placing logs on the ground and right clicking with an axe. You can craft them using a saw but it’s not the only way.

Imagine how long it took to make this video, the edits, gameplay and camera angles. Props to you. Also the texture pack/shader is insane

Here are some tips for rlcract. 1. You can tame some of the monsters. The raikos (seagulls) that spawn near your base, for example, can be tamed using avian treats (silex meat or cookies or crab legs and two bones), and can be used as flying mounts if equipped with a saddle. You’re probably going to need quite a few treats. (Edit: Updated crafting recipes. Thanks @Super Sentai Mexicano!) 2. Using a bone, gold ingot and ended pearl, you can make a summoning staff. This lets you summon some monsters to help you fight. 3. You can upgrade a canteen with a charcoal filter (made with charcoal and paper) so that the water in it is purified. 4. If you see any lit torches in a structure, take them. They won’t go out. 5. Elemental monsters can spawn from certain materials, blocks or breaking things. Cinders spawn from fire, banshees spawn from cobwebs, geonachs can spawn when ores are broken, grues spawn in darkness. 6. Not all mobs are hostile, though. The nymph, which looks like a fairy with butterfly wings, gives regeneration. There are also aegis, which spawn in villages and fight most hostile mobs. 7. You can make a sleeping bag with three wool. They let you sleep without resetting your spawn point. 8. There are two different bestiaries. One for the Ice and Fire mod, the one with the dragons, and the other for Lycanite’s Mobs, the one with the elementals and seagulls. Look into both of them so you can learn more about your environment. Know your enemy. 9. There are items that can adjust temperature. There are heating and cooling liners that you can add to your armor, and an Ozzy liner that automatically helps adapt to your environment, but the latter can be expensive. There’s also heating and cooling coil machines that can be powered with a lever. They warm/cool the room they’re in. Anyway, good luck and have fun.

the one basic way to get wood is By Placing The Wood You chopped then Right click it with your axe :3 thus Cook those Monster's Meat you Slain they provide good saturation. thus Be careful on breaking things like grass Crops Stone or sleeping there might have a chance of spawning some Mobs.

53:59 how about an atlas? It's a wider version of a map! You can drag, zoom etc. You can also place markers to mark certain areas, and because these markers exist you can also locate a nearby village with it! All you need is one book & quil + one compass

Just finished binge watching all your 100 day video's, your editing it brilliant and your narration is like watching 'My name is Earl' play minecraft, the story and character development for Shadow is great too, couldn't stop watching. Earn yourself a well deserved subscriber. Really looking forward to the continuation of RLCraft, it cant be brutal at times, just watch for the 1 hit kills to the head

Also, the structure at spawn is the temple of erelith which is a rare structure!!

NUMBER 1 STRAT!! 1-try and find a village 2-make avian treats 3-tame a bird(one of those seagulls) 4-craft a saddle and ride the bird 5-fly to a battle tower with a fishing rod and a bow and arrow 6-go to the top where the battle golem is 7-fly just above the battle golem and use your fishing rod on him till it brakes (the golem wont attack you unless you attack it first or open a chest) 8-once your fishing rod is broken go back a littel bit and shoot the golem! 9-that would launch the battle golem away and you would get hella good loot in the top chest.

I saw that you've been playing since beta, and that's awesome! I've been playing since 2011, and although I've had several hiatuses where I haven't played Minecraft for a while, I've always loved the game, and always I've loved what people can make/do with it. “What’s your most hated mob” Me: oh boy where do I start: Skeletons, banshees, dragons, sirens, Grue’s, cockatrice, Reaper, Raiko cause of their weight effect, Roc, cinders, wraiths ventoraptors, Triffid, pixies because they steal. Pretty much almost every single mob that is trying to get you. These are just more annoying than anything. Edit: oh and of course parasites

Im am surprised you survive this long. Since Rlcraft is no joke on its difficulty like that dragon when your trying to get that chest you where so lucky there since they have a unique atk where they can shoot exploding fireballs. There are so many close calls that could have ended your series, like seriously i die most of the time in this game.

The horse with the mermaid tail (seahorse, hehe) is a passive mob. You can even tame and ride it.

I remember my first time with RL craft. I thought oh what's this? A mod pack with in depth survival mechanics? That sounds neat, I've been looking for a survival based game. I'll give it a shot. I spawned in and wandered around for a minute and punched a piece of grass for no particular reason. I was then shot to death with lasers from a flying grass monster.

Intro: love the floating serpent chilling in the air??? XD Most hated mob? As a builder- anything with fire. Mainly dragons because they also break blocks. Pretty cool at a distance though. Day 1: we jus gonna ignore the "gravel" situation. Carelessly swimming through water without ear plugs gives me anxiety- Day 2: was that a baby bone dragon chilling in the water???? - Shadow please- EAR P L U G S- Night 2: the anxiety- how you survived is beyond me- we ain't even gonna talk about that spaghetti monster wanna be, as well as the Gru- the things that appear in too much darkness- please discover the invention of a God damn torch. Day 3: wth was that sea pancakes range!? R a v e c r a b. Rave crab out for blood xD maybe he was jus tryna help cut down trees xD. E A R P L U G S shadow!- Day 4: just place the log on the ground and right click w axe for planks- but I suppose your way was big brain- oh dope the loch ness monster- Day 5: the shape of water monster was saying hi- how did you SURVIVE????? i appreciate the more "newbish" approach you do, most people seem to know everything about the modpack or game

a good weapon that i have seen is either a rapier, saber, or a halberd. a hammer is good for knockback reasons lol. the creature that you saw pick up a creeper is what you would call a roc. you can tame it with avian treats, but if you are gonna start taming things, you should probably get the stuff to make sure it doesnt die permanently first before your efforts are for nothing. as for the part about the noises in the dark, its because if there isnt already light in the area you are in, the dark can spawn in specific mobs like what you saw flying through the wall, which is called a grue. so just holding the torch wouldnt do anything for preventing that. as for the geist, they just randomly spawn after killing a mob from what i have seen so far. as for the nether, i highly suggest to not go there until you have a good set of gear that you are also fine with losing due to the randomness that is rlcraft.
