I have a theory on why aerial+ is so op. I think EA tried to balance it so that shorter players with aerial+ could occasionally win headers against taller players without aerial. For example, a 5'10" player with aerial+ would have a chance to beat a 6'1" player without aerial. This makes sense, and should be what aerial+ does. The way this would implement this is by making aerial+ players jump 3 inches higher. The problem comes when you match up a 6'2" aerial+ player with a 6'2" player without aerial. In this case, the extra 3 inches makes the 6'2" player jump like a 6'5" player, meaning that they ALWAYS win the header. The problem gets even worse when you have a 6'5" aerial+ player going against a 6'2" player without aerial. Now, the 6'5" player will not only always win headers, but they can also reach over the other player to get to them. The solution would be to make it so that aerial+ give more additional jump height to shorter players. For example, 5'6" players could get 4 inches added, 5'9" players could get 3, 6'0" players 2, and 6'3" players 1. This would make it so that aerial+ always gives an advantage, but it wouldn't be as crazy as it is now on taller players, making it more balanced. Aerial+ would not be a way to reach over taller players all of the time, but a way to make shorter players occasionally win headers.
The fact that the mid field congestion doesn't let you play authentic football, and when you see ppl who are scoring from a cut back, or from deflections, or even a kick off glitch, makes me wonder, are we even playing a football simulator anymore? 😭
I’ve actually stopped playing all online modes. Literally just doing squad battles to grind the xp and spending the rest of the time enjoying summer in Bali

I finally did my final rage on this game. I’m not buying the next game. I’ll just watch steamers play the game and live vicariously through them. Fck this . I have a 97 overall team but I’m fighting for my life every game.
Kratos canon backstory wasn't the nonsense they tell you in the God of war games. The real story was he loaded up a match of FC24 lost the ball to the autopress, conceded an equalizer, and had his opponent griddy then quit at the draw, all within a span of 10 seconds, hopefully that clears up why he violently murdered the entire greek pantheon and tried to off himself on multiple occasions, all things considered I think it was a pretty justified reaction.
I played a rat yesterday who had 4321 and 100 depth. I was classic 442 69 depth and I couldn’t get any space at all. I raised the depth to 75 and cooked him 😂
Worst thing about gameplay isn’t the 100depth it’s the people who quit at 0-0 or when you equalise n they quit or it’s 0-0 u get a peno and they quit before you take it. Most games are either a loss or some scrub quitting before u can win wtf is that gameplay just give us the win for quitters ffs too scared people might get free packs easier….
The worst part about that is there is an algorithm that matches you with the sweatiest player after someone quit on 0-0 or another draw. It’s disgusting.
The issue with this community is so many ppl bitch about the way ppl play and then play the exact same way they complain about. At the same time this community does nothing but try to find the cheapest, easiest, cheesiest way to succeed at the game bc majority of the players aren't any good at the game and NEED the ridiculous tactics and cheese mechanics to have a chance at winning. If the people who play with those tactics and use those mechanics couldn't use them, majority of them wouldn't even be able to get out of div 7 bc they'd have to actually learn to play the game. Content creators play a role in it too, folk like inception make a video ranting about rat mechanics and then turn around and release a tactics review promoting ratting shit. Same with Nick. Rants about how ppl are playing the game while being a generic 4321 71+ depth player. Zwe rants about ppl who play for corners while being a cross merchant. What this leads to is EA trying to find ways to nerf stuff when reality is the community just needs to stop playing this way. EA can only think of just removing the common uses the players use to play these ways...so bye 4321, incoming nerf to long pass.
yup this 100 depth is crazy EVERY YEAR during this period. Cards have unlimited stamina now (most of them with battery), you can make 100 depth constant press all the way. The worst thing is - your cards still have 0 IQ, you have no time to player lock, when you switch with a long ball, pressing player will be first to the ball in 99% cases and good luck passing down low against intercept + octopuses. It is amazing to play and enjoy the game.
He is 100% right with the switching patch. In wl, sometimes, I can actually play some football in this game, especially against worst opp, but last season I had 950+ skill rating in elite div and every single game I was playing against 100 deth, every player marked by the AI and I had to just continously switch sides just to keep possesion. It's not something I like to do, it's not something I want to do, it's something I need to do to at least keep posession and move up the field
Around this point of the power curve I play 4-2-4 more forwards then midfield and I constantly pressure and switch my wingers by halftime but by halftime I’m either winning by 2-3 goals or losing by 1 but there’s goals the way I set the game but I’m enjoying it at the moment lol idk

This weekend was absolutely insane with the press it actually made me hang up the boots for this year I have no desire to play this game getting auto tackle while everyone of my players is covered going against 7 players with intercept plus and attackers that play like 96 Maldini. I got 14 wins but at what cost dude 😂
I actually haven’t played champs since the Enzo objective was out. After that I just hated playing online and literally just play online the day before rival rewards come out
This last WL was crazy. Ref giving wrong throw ins, wrong corners, not calling offside. Free kick taker tapped the ball infront of himself and it counted as a foul and free kick for the opposition. The glitches and lag was crazy. Rivals and friendlies are much better but the game overall is cooked 🤦♂️
Tha gameplay was fun at the start of the game until they decided to patch stuff didn’t need touching so here we are struggling to get the ball of the players and if you do it’s a foul

The problem isn’t the press, if your good enough u can play around it, the problem is the broken tackling, like wtf is some of the tackle from behind through the players legs and no foul,…again wtf…that’s the problem with this game
Fuck you EA. Imagine if someone who can go 20-0 feels like this, how the average player feels. I’m average at best, but i keep trying to do the Nation objective every week for some “fun”. Only one I’ve beeen able to get is Enzo. All teams are crazy. My best player on the french team was Giroud and only managed 10 💀
Game is absolutely shocking, ai defending is way too OP, manual defending is almost impossible because of completely unrealistic agile dribbling and skill moves, balls over the top can't be defended neither can whipped crosses, boring glitch goals, rebounds off players, keepers spilling the ball to an opponent constantly. Could easily name 100 major faults with this game. Ea are just theives
the AI is just way too strong, back in older fifas if you skill moved an AI defender (example an l1 elastico) the AI would just stand still, now in EA fc 24 the AI just perfectly mimics your move so the person defending doesnt actually have to manually antecipate what you're going to do, this lowers the skill gap SO MUCH and makes attacking nearly impossible, thats why pros just spam crosses, you cant cook anymore (against good players) all you can score is the easiest cut backs/driven pass to striker and headers, the game takes no skill at all.
Don’t do it JFC stay with us or at least give us some menu grind content. Also Ea needs to realize we have a RW icon with power shot in Mia Hamm. I would say 19 and 20 gameplay was worse. Also drop the video people need some help breaking it down. And gotta grind out 9 wins to get the Futties terminator Haaland
Long ball is a bigger problem that 100 depth when you beat the press you are through but with long ball the way people attack is fucking stupid just keep switching the ball from lb to rb send one of those on a run do another long ball and cross into ur 6'5 striker. Thats how most of these rats play i would rather play against press that this long ball meta bullshit
This game is literally a scam you won’t get a decent player until you spend thousands to get 1 meta player And they expect you to compete in champs and rivals they’ll give you thousands of free packs but nothing inside of it never gain I’ll buy ea game in my life scam scam scam
The auto press is bad, but 2nd man press is the bigger problem. It's too precise and effective. They stick to you like glue no matter how you turn or move.
