U made me do virtual memory which worked but after that you said you HAAAVEEE to do something where you delete your temp folder which it isn't letting me
Dude is still liking comments 7 months later, what an absolute legend that ACTUALLY tells you what to do/easy how to do and it actually works. Nice work dude, new sub!
It's unbeleavable that there is no shitstorm agains ms for all this shit. If u like to use a 3rd party antivirus or a firewall integrated into your router, windows will not let u deactivate it's own anti virus forever, it will just restart after a few days. If i set something to OFF, i will that it stayes there. I'm asking myself what we will get with win11....
i tried many videos to fix memory leak ,fps drop while playing games atlast i fixed it....wanna know how...just click the link and follow the steps.... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CCjpkhDv9vo.html through this i boosted fps.....have fun
I've riddled through a couple of these myself with no luck. After stopping sysmain I dropped from 100% to 0%-1%... "A program designed to increase system performance over time" You legend. Subbed.
Does it take like 10 hours to do the job? You did not mention that part. I restarted the laptop it has been five hours and it is still going. It says now Fixing C stage 4: total 30% ETA 5:06:07. Is this normal? Thank you in advance.

I've had my laptop for 5 years and It's been running at 100% disk ever since I got it. I've checked multiple times on youtube for helpful videos and none of them worked, finally giving up on April 1st of 2020. With this storm coming from Texas I wanted to use my laptop because I would be without power and decided to do another search. This video, was the only one in hundreds of videos that actually helped. Thank you so much!
My favorite thing about running windows is the convenience of native malware. Really saves me the hassle of clicking every link on sketchy websites... ... Thanks for the video. The Diagtrak change seems to have helped.
Brother You are a life saver ! I just can't thank you enough ! I've been suffering from this problem since last 8 months and now after doing all the steps told by you my disk usage is very low ! THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this info ! You deserve more and more subs. ! God bless you !
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Step 1... resolved my issues. I’ve spent countless hours on the phone with microsoft support for nothing... and literally step 1 of your video resolved the issue for me. Thank you again!
Hi there, just a quick message to say thanks for this video. I bought a Lenovo Thinkpad last year for use on a work course, and it was literally unusable. I had bought it from the retailer, brand new, and it was taking about 20 minutes from booting to be able to open anything. Even then it was minimally responsive. Yesterday, I got it out (had thrown it in a cupboard and given up on it) and had a good look around the system. I had noticed the disk usage was at 100%, but couldn't figure out why.....so I googled it, and here I am :) I followed the clear instructions in the video, and it has completely fixed the machine. I didn't do all the steps; I watched the video, noted which steps seemed to make most sense to me and did them in order. Laptop is working perfectly. Yes it's a low-end spec, but I bought it for browsing and office work and prior to this fix wasn't even capable of that. Thanks again, very happy :D
one look at that beard lets you know he's an absolute wizard! 6:55 (5) Disable DiagTrak - went from 100% disk usage down to 1-5% absolutely unreal, spent the best part of 6 hours trying to resolve my issue including a fresh windows 10 install! stupid microsoft help page, thank you!
Yeah, the virtual memory and disabling helped a lot. I see the disk usage went from 100% to 3-5% although it kinda spikes to 70-90% for some reason, but I doesn't stay long. Thanks a lot for video, I'll keep it on favourites :)
HP desktop system was running fine. Had a Windows Update September 23, 20201 and by the 26th system basically became unusable because of 100 percent disk usage. I tried a restore point to previous update. System worked fine for a day then same problem. System runs so slow Task Manger doesn't even run. Will try fixes you recommended in the video. Very comprehensive and well done. I hope one of the 10 will solve my problem. Thanks for the time and effort in making this video and posting it. Much appreciated.
Thanks a lot man, 100% disk usage - 3% disk usage. Huge improvement. Runs so damn smooth now. Can't thank you enough as this was getting very annoying seeing that red bar on Task Manager for the past year or so.
This definitely helped with the high disk usage on windows 10. Although the issue still persists on my computer, I believe its due to a shortage of memory, because my laptop has only 4gb of ram, so when I open a few tabs on google chrome I'd notice the disk usage goes to a 100%. One more thing I wanted to mention is that I have an HDD which will show some signs of failure over time causing the hard drive to become less responsive, of course, that depends on how it is being used and its condition. Overall, I would like to thank you for making this video and going through all the possible solutions for the problem as I did notice a significant decrease in disk usage.
Same. I heard that it might be that it just needs more RAM. I disabled the one where it thinks you’ll use certain applications and the disk, CPU and memory are everywhere from 90 to 60 all the way back to 100. Think it helps a little bit but then again my laptop is like almost 3 years old
OMG THANK YOU!!!! I have been dealing with this 100 disk error for ever. I was ready to just buy a new laptop. For me, resetting the virtual memory did it. I'm glad I found your video before I wasted money on a new laptop.
Finally someone who knows what he is doing! Thank you so much! Most guides out there are full of commercials and misleading content. Thank goodness I found your channel. Bless you.
Went thru all these as my laptop was at 100% constantly with no fluctuation. Updated windows first from their website( tip from your other video) and it took hours then went thru all these( also changed the windows optimisation setting and antimalware schedule) Now when laptop loads it is at 100% but after sitting idle for a few minutes it drops to 0-8%, it will go back to 100% when i load a program but never stays fixed at 100% like before. Definitely still not perfect but waaaaaay better than before. Thanks 👍
These are some good advices, especially to disable DiagTrak & Superfetch. Usually people tend to believe that they have some kind of malware, while instead the problem is in Windows (Microsoft). Thanks man!
Not really sure which tip actually fixed my 100% headache but I finally got it with the help of your video. Thank you for taking the time to make it and share it for guys like me who like to fix things on our own and hate to spend money we don't have.
Thank heavens we have people like this that know what is happening and going on.... end-user focussed. I subscribed to MS services and they were less than useless. Resolved nothing, gave me more headaches and cost me $$$
Thanks for the double intro at video start. Since you did 3rd in the description as well, I'm going to do the 4th one in the comments. Today I'm going to share 10 tips that I use on a daily basis to solve 100% Disk Usage problems in Windows 10.
Thank you so much! You saved me. Laptop updated to windows 10 and was crashing and running so slow. I had to apply for my visa and had no other means of doing so. Youve literarily saved me.
I once saw a tutorial on how to fix it but the 100% came back after several minutes, this was really helpful. I thought I had to buy a new HDD or SSD even though my PC was new. I got so happy when it maintained around 5-11% for a couple of minutes while I was checking my disk usage. Thank you so much! New subscriber.
Watching my disk goes from 100% to 5% just by disabiling sysmain give me the best relief ever, i was trying to fix it for over a year just because they changed the SUPERFITCH NAME
This only worked for me after doing the Windows 10 upgrade....I went back and disabled Windows Search, SysMain and DiagTrack...happy with the results. Thanks,
Dude thank you so much I just found out the reason my laptop is so slow is because the 100% disk drive so I searched for tutorials on how to fix this and I followed your steps because the thumbnail is convincing and now my laptop is as fast as how I bought it!!! :D
Hey man. Thank you so much. I've been struggling with it for so long. The first solution worked for me. But I still did the next 3 as well just to be sure.
Great video. Your presentation was by far the best I have come across trying to solve the 100% HDD problem. The good news is the HDD is no longer pegged at 100%. I think the VM adjustment was the most effective tip. The bad news is I am suffering from from random spikes (0% to a 100% and in between) for no apparent reason. I executed all the tips except 9 (didn't have the bad driver) and 10 because the problem was mostly solved). Thanks for your help and the solution for the problem plagueing my laptop for months.
Thank you so much man. I was literally fighting with this issue for the last 2 years. Its finally resolved with the help of your video🙌🏼🙏🙏 you're doing a great job!!❤️

This is a success story. I had a laptop that has 100% disk usage since day1, DELL refused to accept return. I tried everything on youtube, disabling DiagTrak made it better, it went from 100% all the time to just half the time, but that does not make it any more usable as it happens randomly and freezes. I commented this and the youtuber replied telling me to change to an SSD. I'm not that advanced with tech, after watching a few tutorials I decided to buy the mini screwdrivers and an SSD, and I managed to replace the HDD to and SSD. I finally have a working device now!!
Thank you so so so much. My mom's computer was so slow that it couldn't keep up to typing a web page into a browser the letters lagged. And it was a newer laptop. She was so frustrated after taking it to the local computer store twice that she was ready to buy another laptop. This video solved all of that it runs so smooth and fast now thank you very much
Thank you sir, i knew about most of these steps, but i had no clue what every single "service" is doing in the background. You explained it very understandable and now i know, i can turn all of this off :D BTW: It was also helpfull for me to delete old windows installations in this case, no plan if this makes sence but it's rly faster now.
umm..%0 disk usage? hello? is this real?..my startup button actually opens when i click it i dont have to wait 3 mins to close my pc anymore..thanxxxxxxxxx

I still cant fix it. When I open task manager, the System seems to be the one that causes the disk to be at 100%. Can you help me. I also reseted my PC recently after a malware attack and I don't know if that has an effect on it.
Thank you so much! Scan Disc resolved my issue. I don't usually comment to youtube videos but I'm doing it now just to thank you bigtime. Godbless and more subscribers to come. :)
