Hello, Lucy. How's everything going? 😀 Thank you so much! Very helpful. I work with a British lady and I'm just amazed how these 100 phrases ring a lot of bells, if I may. At first I thought 100 is a lot but after recognizing almost all of the phrases I say I want to hear and know more! 🙌 😀
Honestly, you're the best English teacher that I have ever found on RU-vid. I love the way you speak, it's quiet different of other. I'm Indonesian by the way, and I'm in progress of speaking British accent. Thank you so much, your channel is very useful!
Thank you Lucy, you are an excellent teacher, and I learn British accent much more from you! I am Taiwanese, and a few days ago when I watched a TED speech which was made from a British man, I can understand what he had said without the whole subtitle! Thank you very much, I appreciate about that! :))
As a French, watching a non-French video without having to put the subtitles on has got to be one of the best feelings ever :) For the common living (I do include myself into it), learning a language is a very long process. Feeling that a years-long effort has finally started to pay off is SO satisfying! I can't imagine having to learn a language from a whole different alphabet, so I very much respect you for making that effort. I've always wondered how good Taiwanese people were speaking English ^^ [PS: I hope Taiwan remains a thing for next few decades ':) ]
Hi, greetings from Russia! It might seem quite surprising, but these kinds of videos are very useful. To yourself they might seem not quite interesting and somewhat boring and not worth making, but in fact this kind of format gives compact and exact information. And these videos also have what is most important for language learners and what people cannot find practiacally anywhere: reading of the phrases in video format, where learners can see a speaker and besides they can see clearly the speaker's face and mouth and see how the speaker pronounces everything. And it helps very much. And again this is what we always lack. There are practically no such videos on youtube. There are videos with phrases and sentences, and basic structures, but the videos do not show the speaker. Please, make more videos of this format, it is very helpful. It is the uttermost way of representing the learning material. And it is also very helpful and useful if a phrase is uttered slowly for teaching purpose. Thank you very much.
Hi from Russia. (Привет из России). I fully agree with Vladislav Rudakov (Я полностью согласен с Владиславом Рудаковым). This lesson seems very simple, but it is really very useful. (Этот урок кажется очень простым, но на самом деле он очень полезен.) This is my personal opinion (Это мое личное мнение)
i really learned too much from you now m'y british accent ils wondurfull m'y friends ask me who is you teacher and i sad Lucy you are really great teacher
Your videos are always helpful for me. I can't thank you enough. Especially the videos related to phrases. I'm an English teacher from Indonesia. I teach Indonesian students who mostly they memorise word by word and it's killing them every time they want to arrange how to speak up. They still can't have conversations, tho! So, i suggest them to watch and learn from videos like this one. Well, once again. Your videos are marvelous. Love them a lot❤️❤️
Hey and thanks a lot from Turkey :)As an ELT student i would like to mention that Lucy, i'm trying to improve myself with your videos and these videos are perfect. Thanks a lot again :)
I can't thank you enough! I lived in London for a while and probably you were not yet born at that time. Since then my English has been mostly about writing and reading. So, this video lesson of yours was really great for me.
Exactly what I want to learn. Having casual conversations with locals is the hardest part of learning English for me. Thank you for helping me avoid potentially embarrassing situations in the future!
Lucy, I can't thank you enough! 😆😆😆 By the way,I was thinking if there's any way to reject apology after I see "accepting apology". Hehehe, I'm just kidding but maybe you should teach us how to reject apology.😂😂😂
When somebody says, I apologise, you can reply by either saying, ‘I accept your apology’ Or ‘Sorry, but I do not accept your apology.’ Remember, it is okay to not accept apologies.
Hi Lucy.... I observed that you didn't pronounce the 't' at the end of some words, Like not, can't, it etc. Maybe I misheard it but if I am right could you please make a video on it
G͓̽R͓̽A͓̽N͓̽D͓̽ M͓̽A͓̽S͓̽T͓̽E͓̽R͓̽ , the right hournable gentleman, American accent is American accent!!! Of cource it has a lot of drawbacks but you must not call it trash. No no no!!!!
To: Alanis Vecci - Lucy speaks with received pronunciation which technically has no specific regional, but a neutral accent and can be acquired by practice. It is similar to some natural southern accents particularly in places like Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Hey LUCY, I could catch the mistake in your video. In this, the number 18 and 19 are showing the same sentences. So, please correct it. When you say "Excuse me" it goes in the text as 'E'. Dude, please mend this mistake. This is my request. If others watch you will be getting benamed. Bye lovyyy. 🤗🤗🤗😘
Your videos are very useful and interesting. I like listening to your accent because as a non English speaker it's not always easy to know how to pronounce some words.
Your is my favourite English channel! I understand all you say because you speak very clearly and your voice is so adorable. Greetings and congrats from Italy ✌👌
Thank you for your videos it's really helpful I started to improve my English language couple months ago to get a job now I'm searching for someone to speak with
Your videos help me a lot in terms of improving my pronunciation in English. I really love British accent and was hoping to speak like a native speaker. I brought up in Hong Kong. I have watched 80% of your videos these days.
