I clicked on this video as soon as I saw Home Bargains in the title. I work in a Home Bargains store and you can get some great stuff in there. Envelopes, money tins and more for people in the cash stuffing community. ⚓️
⚓️, love your videos Ira, started watching you a few weeks ago after Budget with Iris mentioned you in one of her videos and now I watch you all the time.
⚓️have been silently watching for a little while now after seeing iris mention your channel in one of her videos. I’m new to the cash stuffing and budgeting community and I’m still learning and finding what challenges suit my budget best. Thank you for the opportunity to win such a lovely giveaway 🥰
Loved the video. Love ideas for people who might not be able to afford the fancier things but are still trying to get into saving. Your personality is so uplifting. Would love to win! ⚓️
I'm so glad you shared this! My budget is pretty tight so I'm gradually replacing all my envelopes with custom ones from Etsy but for now the bog standard white letter envelopes I started with are still working just fine.
I actually already do this for the 50 envelope challenge but I use the slightly larger envelopes so I don't have to fold my notes, I love it so much I'm currently on the third time completing the challenge using the same set of envelopes as they haven't needed to be replaced ⚓
⚓️⚓️ Absolutely loving this series of cheap ways to make cash stuffing essential. Coming in very handy for me being on such a tight budget but wanting to better mine and my kids future ❤
Great idea for those who is just getting started and don’t have the money to spend on all the fancy challenges. I reused old Christmas cards and an old box to store my 52 envelopes in. I do a seasonal challenge which saves £120 in total for the year which will be going into my 52 envelopes. ⚓️
Love this video series, this one especially. Such a simple, easy, and unbelievably cheap way to create a savings challenge. Just shows that budgetting doesn't have to mean forking out loads of money, just to keep up with the Jonses.⚓️
I’ve been waiting for a home bargains budgeting haul! Love a good DIY 😍 I’ve just begun my budgeting journey and have bought a couple of items but have made some too so love your top tips and love your videos bestie ⚓️⚓️
Hi Bestie! Love DIY with Ira videos! I agree that anyone can do the 100-envelope challenge. There are so many ways to do this. Start at 1 and work your way through of course. When you get to the higher numbers just keep filling that envelope until you complete the value and then move to the next one. For example, for the 98 envelope, fill with 5, 10, 20 whatever until the total is 98, and repeat. I think many tend to think they need to fill the envelope with the exact value at once and that is not necessarily the case. Also, not thinking about how long it will take is probably best. Just keep at it and before you know it, you are done. For myself, I started from the middle just because it was different😀⚓⚓
I do this. I use a number picker between 1 and whatever. And if the number is too big. I'll just save until I can fill it. I started at random because of this. So no method to my madness. Just hope that the number is decent 😂
@@julieb6680 oh fair play. I've only started the 200 envelope challenge. I'm trying not to feel intimidated by it. Just made up my mind a bit at a time
Fabulous that you're showing everybody they can do it on the cheap I love my cash stuffing thanks to you💙 but I do like a little bit of a spend get nice stuff and it makes it more enjoyable
I did this, went to Dollar Tree and bought 2 boxes of (80 each) envelopes. I got the 1-100 stickers from temu. I don't like folded money so used this very simple system, I sealed them, then cut off the tops so I can put the money and take the money out when I've finished the challenge. It cost me $3.50 total. Works a peach! Oh, I let my 7 year old grandson roll dice to tell me which envelopes to pull.
⚓ I used plain white envelopes and drew my own savings challenges when I started .... my children love colouring in the little symbols for their birthday savings, each of their envelopes is personalised to something they love to do... ❤
this is so great. 🥰 I averaged $50 per envelipe because of the coin thing. Also… if you make 1-10 envelopes for your wallet and fill up 1-10 with your change. each time you fill an envelope take it out of your wallet. every time you complete the 1-10 thats $55/£55 for one of the bigger envelopes. refill your wallet with the 1-10 envelopes to out your change in, rinse and repeat🥰 Also… if your income just cannot cope with the traditional 100 envelope challenge then change the denomination of each envelope to suit your budget. eg..£5x 100=£500, £10x100 =£1,000 ect. theres literally no excuse to not try it and its sooo much fun! 🥰
⚓ I currently use a spreadsheet to track the Penny saving challenge. So much easier and cheaper! Did take me around an hour to type all the number from 1p to 366p tho!
This is going to be an awesome package for someone. All you new budgeters need to drop an anchor. I am not joining in as I am a Sugar Daddy and already get so many wonderful things.
Hello Bestie! I am about 14 envelopes away from finishing my first ever 100 envelope challenge. I have used some smaller quick challenges to help me with the larger numbers. ⚓
Hi besite! In my opinion the concept that you dont need to have tons of money or fancy things in order to do a challenge is so important to understand when youre saving, thank you for reiterating that! ⚓️⚓️⚓️
⚓ Currently doing your 52 week envelope challenge and your 4.5k big Bertha! (I've started calling mine that now without even thinking about it) Saving up for Spain with the 2k and as a serial spender it's tricky but ticking those numbers off helps keep me kind of on track.
I understand the frustration of coins in a 100 envelope challenge. Where I live we have coins from 20 down to 1 and bills from 50 upwards, so I had to fix my 100 envelope challenge so that I didn't have coins ratteling around drawing my attention. So now I stuff 50 bills in ALL the envelops exept the last one that one gets a 100 bill. The total is the same and I don't have ratteling coins, but i sacrifice speed for that conviniance as it takes longer for me to save up to that bill 50. I don't mind as when I'm done I will have 5000 and that is a lot of money no matter what currency one uses here in Europe. ⚓
⚓️ this is such a bargain! I'm now so tempted to grab the envolopes from home bargains n buy one of ur trackers.... but I always overspend if I step foot in Homebargains lol ❤⚓️
