Another tip for early game, place an alter at an abandoned house or farm, usually once you patch a few walls and roofs, you can get 25+ minutes of comfort.
After over 250 hours in, I wasn't expecting much in the way of new tips for me. However, I had NO IDEA that Luminous Growth was a placable terrain material. Holy cow 🐄 I'm so gunna snazz up my palace after work! Many thanks for the great video 🫡
How did you not know that? The first time you get it, it tells you you can build the block and the blocks are....? you guessed it, what you build with.
@No-One.321 I think you misunderstood...I have indeed harvested it from the wild, and crafted the blocks into glowing blue squares. What I was unaware of was the ability to take the RAW uncrafted material and plant it like terrain. So it shows all the crystals
Hahaha, when I found that mat for the first time I lit up all my pathways, contoured my farm, used it as LED lighting around the inside parameter of my main base, and Wrote my Username on the side of my base. Then the next day I found out you could spread it with the Rake (so you only need like 4 of the luminous rock)and get an infinite amount next to your base and went wild
18:57 In the borders of the area where you find the Bone Block, the floor is Luminous Growth. A few swings of the pick axe, and you can pick up both materials in the same place.
When you get the farmer npc, make 'fertilized farm soil' and use the rake trick with it. Crops will grow exponentially faster. To the point that I had plants ready to harvest by the time I'd finished planting a batch of 200.
There's a salt mine just southeast of the starting area, almost due east of the ember vault at a mine called Saline Mine. The salt is just inside the edge of the shroud and is a lot safer to reach than edgerton salt mine.
Another good source of amber is the shroud well just west of the pillars of creation. Just halfway through to the root there is a floor patch of amber that stretches quite a bit underground. Mobs are about level 11 and you can lure the boss mob into a lava pit for an easy kill after chopping down the root.
Itd be cool to see an updated tips and tricks video designed for people who have played the game a bit, more like actually hidden secrets in the game and things like i guess
People underestimate how important the rested bonus is, to their detriment. Jezmina's Apotheosis carried me from level 14 to 24. Get it, You won't even notice the fall-off until 22-23. Woodgard is a great place to set up a Flame Altar and use as a farm. It's pre-built, so why not?
The rested bonus is absolutely necessary. Same here with Jezmina's Apotheosis. I used that for awhile before I replaced it with a higher level variant.
Bows for switches - worth adding that a Staff and Wands can also be used to trip switches (wands dont always reach though) Lapis Lazuli - correctly pronounced Laz-You-Lie (not Lee), at least thats how we English say it, you yanks, the gods only know 🤪
FYI the stamina tips like sitting while falling or teleporting while flying have been patched. You cannot do these things anymore lol. You will fall to your death 😊
Good video... I cannot make or find candles. Someone told me it is a craft item under illumination but I don't have the option. Any idea what I am missing?
The loom doesn't have the linen recipe. When you get the loom, you automatically unlock the spinning wheel from the hunter. You can craft one from her which will allow you to make linen cheaper.
@@pseudoposse my hunter only has the hand spindle and the loom available for crafting, no spinning wheel ***the carpenter is the one who has the spinning wheel
