I love the fact Milt Kahl was adamant about showing bits of the construction in his drawings. I always wondered whether seeing a few sketchy lines here and there were on purpose or accidental!

Haha I love it too! I can always tell if Milt Kahl animated something if the animation has sketchy lines! He is a true legend of animation!

I love xerography and the 'sketch' appeal it gives the animation. Before 101 Dalmatians, the company tested the xerox animation on several shorts, including Goliath II and some Donald Duck shorts.

I love it too! It is great to see the animators pencil drawings on the screen! YOU ARE CORRECT! They also did a short test of it in one scene in Sleeping Beauty!! Which was your favourite scene in 101 Dalmatians?

@@JakeLeeAnimation my favourite scene has to be the one in Hell Hall, with Jasper and Horace. Just the visual appeal of the xerox style looks really cool on them in particular. Maybe because they look like two caricatures from a comic book or sth. The animation style really fits them.

I was watching it yesterday before finishing this video, and I was just noticing the beauty of the backgrounds. I am so sorry about Walt Disney disliking the backgrounds.
