My phone keeps saying "Google Play services have been stopped" and it doesn't work. It asks me whether to allow or not allow sending of the data for diagnosis. What do I do?
The simplest way is just to go to settings > App Manager > tap RU-vid > tap clear data. Unfortunately you need to this everytime you will open the RU-vid app
This is no solution since you have to clear the cache on youtube app, google services app or youtube services app, each and every time before you click on the youtube app. Since it works temporarily, after the cache clearing, it means that there is nothing wrong with jelly beans version of android. It is the Google that is buggering the users of jelly beans.
Either does not work anymore, at least on an SGH-I497 - Galaxy Tab 2 (the 10" version of this same tablet shown from 2013.) Tried several times, even going so far as to do a full factory wipe and change the settings before it even had a chance to update anything - no luck. The servers are now actively scraping the API to see what you're using to watch, and have started using a whitelist for "approved" apps and origins. It's like a regional content lock but for ALL content. (The way the API handles it, as far as I can tell) Edit: To clarify, this tablet has 4.1.2, so it seems to likely have been patched somewhere between 4.0 and 4.1.2 - Sadly, this tablet is basically a big brick now. Isn't it great having a company tell us not only what we can use our expensive tech for, but when, where, how, and for how long? And then THEY determine when it's time for us to throw away perfectly functional tech that still does what we want just fine? (It's not just YT that's refusing to launch now, but has bled over into other apps like Chrome Browser, where I get a similar "you have to update or else! Oh, you're too old to update! Haha! You can't!" experience again.)
@@user-dv9kj1vz8h Yeah, it opens fine on mine, then gives me that message, even without an update and from a fresh factory-wipe, but... maybe yours defaulted to a different initial version if it was shipped at a different date? What's your YT app version info say? edit: typo correction
@@ArtemisKitty I don't know exactly what my yt version is but its the latest i could get but yeah whenever i close yt i need to clear data so it dosen't say anymore
It work for me my rip samsung tab 10.1 4.2.2version is doesnt have playstore and got so many problems cant update but this time it workkkk thnx for the tips
It did not help but only made the issue worst. After clearing data and forcestop Google services..it's giving error of Google servicrs not working every ten sec.
I got into youtube but can not do anything. Says connection error and to check the time on the tablet..... everything is correct and has a strong connection.....what else can i do?
They are now forcing users to have the latest android os the minimal version most of the software api will run on android 5.0 or 6.0 the 4x android os is now deprecated as google marked it i suppose you can find some affordable android devices out there thats all you can do or use google chrome and google chrome update won't be available on android 4x version
It didn't work for me either period And when I could get it to work it would only work temporarily. But now I put youtube.com in the address bar and it will allow me to watch RU-vid. It won't let me watch the video in full screen but at least I can use the RU-vid on it. Good luck and maybe you can get yours to do a full screen.
When you had the network error you forced stopped Google play services your network error was gone but when I did it with network error I force stopped Google play services but does not gray out help plss
