Hafez and Saadi and Nizami and Ferdowsi and Molana ( Rumi ) and Khayam and Attar and so on are the proud of persian literature and they have became persian as a one of the sweetest launguages in the world
@@azi.q It doesn't matter where they were born. His comment is not about a country; he's talking about the Persian language. All these great poets belong to all the Persian speaking peoples anywhere in the world. We don't need to bring modern-day nationalism into this conversation; we can all be proud of each and every one of them.
Sing to me, Muse, of poetry divine, Of words that flow like sweetest wine, Of verses that dance upon the page, And stories that stir hearts with age. Oft have I heard of poets great, Whose words could change the very fate Of kings and kingdoms, gods and men, And shape the world with mighty pen. From Ilium's walls to Odyssey's sea, Their stories live eternally, In grandeur and in majesty, Their words resound with harmony. With Homer's voice, I sing their praise, And honor poets of all days, For in their verse, we find our soul, And in their rhyme, we find our goal. So let us raise our voices high, And join the poets in the sky, For through their words, we touch the stars, And find in poetry, our memoirs.
@@suleymanveliyev3223 azerbaijan regime started after soviet union in 1990 There is no azerbainjan regime before 1990 But azerbaijan was an iranian state
@@suleymanveliyev3223 He said : Hame alam tan ast o Iran del Nist goyandeh zin sokhan khejel It means : all of the world was like a body and Iran was heart of this body and the speaker was not shameful to talk about it.
@@almumin4169 At first, Nizami introduced himself as an iranian and he had a poem about it and I wrote it: Hame alam tan ast o Iran del Nist goyandeh zin sokhan khejel He said : all of the world was like a body and Iran was the heart of it and the speaker was not shameful due to saying it. Sanai was born in Ghazni and he passed away there. How could you realize he was azerbaijani when he wrote persian and both of his birth place and death place were different from Azerbaijan?????
I didn't see Mihai Eminescu (he discovered theory of relativity before Einstein), Nichita Stănescu or Lucian Blaga. Also you put some poets twice on the list. Also, what was the criteria for your ranking?
The Arabic language with more than 12 million words and thousands of literature heritage and thousands of poets and still only one 'American-Lebanese' poet!!!!!!!!!
ALLAMA MUHAMMAD IQBAL IS URDU POET AND MIRZA GHALIB IS ALSO URDU POET...URDU IS NATIONAL LANGUAGE OF PAKISTAN ALSO SPOKEN THROUGH OUT THE SUBCONTINENT....AND SO POPULAR FOR ITS POETRY WORLD WIDE...THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE ...THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF POETS OF URDU LANGUAGE....
Many good choices and many bad choices as well. Among the bad choices: Spender, Gunn, Roethke, de la Mare, Stevie Smith, Stephen Crane, Brodsky, Herrick, Ogden Nash, Ondaatje, Anjelou, Ted Hughes, Heaney, Clifton, MacNeice, Langston Hughes. Some of these are actually decent poets but they simply don't belong on the list. I could have come up with much better choices. Instead of Stephen Crane, Hart Crane. I'm glad Trakl was mentioned, but where was Rilke? That was an absurd omission. Akhmatova was good, but Tsvetaeva and Mandelstam were better. How about Octavio Paz? He was superb. I didn't see Wei Wang nor Po Chui - again, absurd omissions. Cummings and Robinson Jeffers would have been FAR better choices than Brodsky and Maya Angelou. I'd choose Elizabeth Bishop over Langston Hughes. I can't believe that Victor Hugo, Baudelaire, and Mallarme were left out. How about Leopardi? Lermentov? That's fucked.
Thank you for your hard work . But believe me you didn’t know about Arabic poet . If you knew Arabic language and get to know the sentences you will put the arabs first .
Ye Europeans aur Americans baki Musalmaan Poets ki Left Leg ki Finger Baya Pao ki Ungli ki bhi Barabar NHI hae.... Kalidas aur 2nd Position mein.... Innallillah !!!
@@giganotosaurus5826 No It wasnt all Nizami introduced himself as an iranian and he wrote about it. Khosro and Shirin were iranian people that he wrote about them. Khosro was one of sasanid emperors. He said: Hame alam tan ast o Iran del Nist goyandeh zin sokhan khejel It means : all of the world was like a body and Iran was heart of this body and the speaker was not shameful to talk about it. Molana ( Rumi ) was born in Balkh in Afghanistan as a one the civilized cities of Great Iran and he escaped from Mughols invasion to Konya. Khayam was born in Nayshaboor and passed away there too. Nayshaboor is one the cultural cities of Great Khorasan and even this city is in Iran today.
Baudelaire, verlaine ,Rimbaud? Symbolists. Seferis Eitis nobel price . If Shakespeare is a poete so does racine and moliere iHe who made the list is uneducated totally, at all!!!!
Rumi is not a Persian, she was born in the Turkestan region, she did not stay there long, she came to the city of Konya in today's Turkey, stayed here until her death, and tried to spread the Turkish culture to the Greeks. Also, what did the Iranians at that time say to her because she was not Shiite but Sunni, don't call her Iranian just because she's famous now, this is hypocrisy!
