Because modern day we use urdu not hindi (sadly). Pure Hindi is diff.

@@spy1545 not urdu , hindi came before urdu . So urdu is like hindi 😀 . Hindi and urdu is originated From sanskrit 😀. And nowadays we speak hindi is not pure hindi , it is called "khadi boli hindi" , that have many of words from urdu , english , sanskrit , arabic , french , tamil , telgu and many more . There are many of synonyms of a word in hindi .
