The only thing I really care about AR/VR is being able to explore a really immersive world. Like how he sets a scene at 5:20. No one would hear from me for months at a time if I was able to explore the whole world in VR. I'd be locked up in my room for months just exploring. I'd explore all the forests/national parks in oregon and washington, then just teleport to Europe and explore Rome. Deep oceans, caves, places I could never explore irl. It needs to have depth though or it just feels gimmicky and not immersive. Port space engine to VR and let me explore the solar system. Make it online so I can feel some sort of social aspect and see otherpeople visiting the same area as me, or if I wanna be anti social I can just toggle 'other players' off and have the whole world to myself. Weather settings as well so I can set any ambience I want. Go fishing at a lake and toggle rainy weather. If VR can create an immersive experience that brings the same anount of joy I'd get from actually visiting these places, I'd only leave VR to shower and eat. Other than that I'd live there until I die.

So we used to look at each other odd when we had hands free phones and looked like we were talking to ourselves. Can you imagine poking the air and moving your hands in random motions with vr glasses on

For future reference you can look at the letter you want to type and just pinch your finger and it will type the letter instead of actually using it like a keyboard

what i have learn about the vision pro is you don't haft to click on it with your finger you and use your eye to look at the app you want then as long as you have your fingers near the camera peripheral and click by closing your index and your thumb together and that may make it easer then poking at it

I could see these being useful for maybe someone who has some type of disability, or specific jobs, like Andrew mentioned with Air Traffic. Maybe I’m too old fashioned, but I don’t like the idea of everyone wearing these every day in the future. I feel like it would make human to human interaction feel less personable, and that’s an area we are already lacking in due to texting and other technology. I guess use it if it helps you with something, but don’t rely on it for everything! Just my opinion 🤷‍♀️. Now in 10 or 15 years when these are built to look like regular eyeglasses or contacts… then I may change my mind!! 🤭

It looks extremely uncomfortable due to how heavy it is and your face can't breathe or get any air so that's not good either. It looks like it weighs/pushes down on your cheeks due to gravity too. It's a neat idea but has a long way to go to be in everyday life
