It was really fun seeing you paint the 10 min, 1 min and 10 second versions where you didn't really have time to think as you painted. And then seeing you paint the detailed 100 min version was also very refreshing to see.
I like the 2nd one the most. They're all nice but this 2nd one embodies so much the feeling of those leaves. When I look at it, I can feel and smell the sun and the light breeze running through those leaves. Wonderful!
I've seen these kinds of challenges before, but I love your take on it. It's so inspiring to see how different a painting can look depending on how much time you dedicate to it. And painting the same subject several times in different ways would teach me so much, I'm sure. Thank you!
What a lovely and unique idea. I would love to find time to enjoy painting for that long. I have maybe an hour at most and most of that is used up by setting up my art station. It is hard to do art when time isn't on your side. Your videos have helped me to be more creative with more simplicity. I have been trying to just work with gray tones and it has helped me fill my sketch book faster then trying to lay out colors and big projects. I feel more happy to create now rather then bogged down. Thank you for your inspiration and help.
I definitely need to loosen up and conquer perfectionism. Thanks so much for this, Jess. Looking forward to more of your videos as I make my way through the archive. Bright blessings. 💖💖💖
This is fabulous! You are fabulous! I love this idea and how uniquely beautiful each piece is. Thank you for being such an inspiration! Also, it was super funny watching you work on the 1 min and 10-second painting. I learned a lot too by watching how you approached them.
Your video's are too inspirational,,i just love them , you inspire me to draw ,, i really like when you do these types of spreads ,, i just feel like to grab my sketchbook and start drawing ❤️ :)
@@artofjesskarp thanks for replying I wanted to be an artist too but studies came up with it but you inspired to be myself and i am making art while continuing my studies. Thank You.
omG Jess, you’re amazing! every time I click on one of your videos I get to be a part of your art journey and see the incredible art you make! I get so inspired watching you (for example, after this vid I definitely want to make this challenge again). when I watch your videos I just hold my mouth open because I don’t understand how beautiful someone can make pieces… it’s just amazing… I just love you and your positive attitude towards everything - the way you love drawing makes me love it even more - yay! positive makes difference
Wow, amazing what you can do in such a short time. Definitely a very inspiring video. Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement. Blessings and take care.
This challange is always a classic but I've never seen someone use paints or paint something as simple and not noticeable as leaves. It was AMAZING obviously you're so talented and an inspiration to millions
such a cool video ! the simple one does look great. You’re videos have got me super interested in acryl gouche but I just got a few tubes of regular gouache last month !! gotta save up for them soom
I have written you more often in the comments that you are one of the decisive motivators for the fact that I have started to paint again after many years of "only" making music. Also this wonderful video makes my fingers itch to paint leaves right outside, alone, it's November and here is no more leaf on the trees, besides it is just pitch dark and lousy cold. Today I would like to emphasize how great I find your music selection in this and generally in the newer videos. With other artists, it's often so uninspired and repetitive that I have to turn off the sound. With you, the music is not only beautiful to listen to, but also the mood wonderfully leading.
This was awesome! It truly is amazing how much our work can turn out so much better when we really stop over thinking. That's one of my biggest downfalls. I overthink and let that little perfectionist on my shoulder bug me too much. Great job with these, Jess! Ooh, and I just realized you are in Miami! I am a born and raised Miami gal right here too! WOOT WOOT! ;-)
You know I really like painting from what I sees but Iam not good at painting ! Ooh I wish I will make a good painting some day, your really amazing 😍🤩😍
That was great fun to watch! Jess, do you think your dad would share the 3D print file he used to print your easel? I have access to a printer at my local library and would love to print one, i purchased the hinges already and was going to build a wooden one, but I like the one your dad made you better.
Can you make a routine video of yours in studio vlogs?routine for specially for art students to keep balance in clg assignments, sketching, self learning and sometimes commision works?
