Lots of nice mods…one that I love that you don’t have is solid step with extended hand rail. Takes the bounce out of the steps. With all the holes you have done I hope you do not get leaks as water intrusion teaks havoc on a travel trailer floor.

Great video, thanks for posting. TIP: Use you rear water tanks first moving your weight to the front of your camper will give you much better stability when on the road. There are many videos to prove that.

No stability problems here. 24,000 miles later. Always drain the front tank first. But yes good tip if that was a problem.

VERY NICE, did i hear you right you have an ''AWG'' water gatherer? How do you get the tires up and down? Do you have the spares on TPMS as well? One comment CO2 is LIGHTER than Air and the sensor should be LOW in the room close to the floor.

My mods are just about all the same, and I also do a lot of winter camping vs summer. One thing I would recommend is to go to three Bluetooth victron solar charge controllers one for door side solar one for off door side and one for portable solar. Connect them all together with a Victron Bluetooth shunt using the VE direct smart networking function on the app and it will provide a welcome increase in your solar charging vs current setup you have. I chose three smaller controllers vs one large one so that I’m not dead in the water should one fail.

Really enjoy your videos and have got a lot of good info. I am currently shopping for a new trailer and the Line up of Minni’s is high on my list. 1. On your 100 plus mod for the 2306BHS, you mentioned carrying a 200cc bike on the back. I ride dual sports but don’t want a Toy hauler so I have been researching doing this same thing. Curious what you are hauling. TW200 or Dr200 are my best guesses if they are plated bikes. How does the trailer handle the extra tail weight? Any sway issues? Did you haul the bike prior to adding the extra water tank or was that necessary to offset the weight. 2. Until your video I had ruled out any murphy beds as I am sensitive to mattress selection for my back and on all previous campers have always upgraded to a premium mattress. Reason I have avoided the murphy is the mattress look like they have a split to fold over but in your video it appears yours is a regular mattress as one piece. Does the model 2306BHS fold in a way it did not have the folding mattress or did you just use a regular one and it worked anyway.

Hey thanks for watching. feel free to DM me on instagram and we can exchange phone numbers and I can chat all day to you if you'd like on why I went with the Micro Minnie or help you in your decision making.... But to answer your questions... 1) yes it was a TW200, I ended up only towing it around for about 400 miles but then I found I didnt need it. the 2306 is tongue heavy already so I wasnt too worry.... look at the axles on the Micro Minnie they are place way more in the back than most RV's. BUT that being said yes I had the extra tanks installed already as well as the solar battery and inverter in the front basement. I never had any sway or problems towing it.. 2) so this is a loaded question... I have a 2021a Micro Minnie 2306bhs.... this was before many changes.... firstly the 2021a (to know the A vs B look at the graphics on mine, if there is a 2021 and it has different graphics it a B... so the A's had bigger axles for more payload (about 1000lbs more), and had a murphy bed that wasnt bent in half so I was able to upgrade my mattress with a regular mattress.... the B's came with a 2' hitch receiver but it is only rated for 150lbs the A's never came with one so I built mine into the frame making it SUPER strong... @@GasTachs Wow! Thank you for the reply! I specifically targeted the Minni because of the axle location so it's nice to hear you also make the point it favors the weight distribution. I looked at another manufacture with a spread axle but I just really like the Winnebago. That's very interesting on the sub model and possible difference between the years. I have a couple dealers close to me sounds lik I just need to go look at the bed to see if the 2023 is split like to the '21A. Will take you up on the offer and send over an email to set up a call. My understanding is that CO (Carbon momoxide) is a 'heavier-than-air' gas. With this in mind, shouldn't a CO detector be mounted within 8" of the floor?

So yes CO2 is heavier than air but that is not a carbon dioxide detector, it is a CO detector, carbon monoxide which is neutrally buoyant compared to regular room air so a carbon monoxide detector can be mounted at any level. But just like a smoke detector you want to stay about 6” away from corners wether ceiling or walls come together, as there is a natural dead air flow in that area.

Aren't you well over your trailer capacity and if true over your towing capacity? You only have 1500lbs to add to the trailer and that would leave zero pounds for you to carry in your vehicle. What are your axles rated at? Just curious.

Some great, practical ideas. I think it's a tie between the insulation and tank drain system upgrades. Definitely needed to eliminate the low hanging plumbing for off road use. Totally confused about the hitch mod. For off-road/overlanding, I would prefer an articulating hitch.

Thanks. As for the the hitch setup it more for comfort across the board. The bounce and sway of the camper is absorbed down the road or off road stopping that transfer of momentum to the Tow Vehicle. Articulating hitch isn't really needed for something this size... IMO

What does your trailer weigh with all these mods? If you fill those added freshwater tanks that's 640 lb plus about 300 for the motorcyle for an add of about 1000 lb for just those two. Batteries, solar, extra spare tire, extra 20 propane, yikes!

Buy a tire cover for each of your spare tires chief. Exposure to the sun without rolling on the road can age the tires and cause premature cracking on the sun facing sides. Trying to figure out your accent. I'm guessing Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, thereabouts?

6-7 GALLONS per MILE!?!?! I've seen cargo ships with better fuel mileage! But then again maybe you're strokin it at 110 mph across a mountain. If that is so, you'll probably need more than 8 gallons extra. That'll only get you just over one more mile! time stamp 9:40😳

You said your a safety nut. So have you got a weight on the trailer fully loaded. I didn't hear anything about upgrading the trailer tongue or the axles.

Don't need to as I'm under the payload for my trailer. I picked a trailer with a MASSIVE payload. The newer version of this tailer they cut the payload in half

Yeah, I wouldn’t either…. But obviously I made a mistake, but I also figured out if you keep it in seventh gear. No 8.9 or 10 it uses less gas as the turbos on engaged so now I get 10 to 13

Aren't you well over your trailer capacity and if true over your towing capacity? You only have 1500lbs of capacity to add to the trailer, not counting any water or sewer and that would leave zero pounds for you to carry in your vehicle. What are your axles rated at? Just curious.

I'm your newest subscriber (for now) Wow!!! QUESTION: With all the mods including the extra fresh water tanks aren't you way over on your trailer's CCC? I know the NXG frame is stronger to comparable Lippert framed trailers (especially now with the Lippert frame issues) but do you see any issues with the extra weight? I love what you have done! I am looking at the 2306 or the 2100BH models! I am going solar/Li also with 3 SOK 200AH batteries, Victron Multi Plus 3000 Inverter/charger, 3-190 Watt panels topside with a 200 Watt portable on the ground. I have a 2500 dual fuel inverter/genny for long stretches of rain or cloudy day top offs for the Li's. I intend to boondock and disperse camp only, the thought of being in a "trailer park" turns my stomach. I love peace and solitude (retired LEO) BLM grounds will be my thing. I love the mods you have done....so many I already planned on and so many you made me aware of....Thank you! I now have my day planned of watching your vids on your mods.

Thanks for stopping by. As mentioned in a reply on another video my payload different than the current models. I would increase your batteries before carrying a generator. I stopped carrying a generator because its a waste of weight and another thing to break.

How hard would it be to join/connect the factory grey and black water tanks to double grey water capacity. ? - I'd go to a "Dry/Compost" toilet with pee diverter.

They have connection for that. just install one of these and keep both your grey and black tank valves option and this closed and when your grey fills up so will your black tanks amzn.to/38Fy1TD

Incredible job and great video! Sincere question.....Adding the generator, batteries, extra spare tire, extra large water tanks, motorcycle and all the other goodies have added a LOT of weight. I looked up your trailer and it has 1,400 pounds of cargo capacity. After filling all your water tanks and 60 pounds of propane plus all the other stuff to camp.......you see where I'm going. How have you dealt with this? Thank you for all the great information and enjoy your incredible camper.

Hey so this camper has a 2000lbs payload no issues. Went to cat scales many times all good. Tongue is heavy but all good. I didn’t even up using the bike on the back, found myself winter camping more so no need for the bike.

Coldest I got down to was 4degrees at night but normally it’s around 15-25 when camping

Wow! Your first group of mods must result in a major increase in tongue weight. Did it put you over the recommended 15% of GVWR for tongue weight?

never measure tongue weight but loaded weight is now 6000 with GVWR 7000
