You can use rose instead of beet root for red colour ...... And you can use brinjal peels instead of purple cabbage for purple colour ..... but make sure you add sugar to it

This is genius, pure genius! I can't wait to make my own natural food color. Update: (10/8/22) I've made the orange 🍊 & green food color, but having trouble with the red. I grated 3 large beets, put in a sheet pan to dry and after 1 week the mass has shrunk down about 75% and is still wet!

You can use butterfly pea flower for blue and add lemon to it for purple and use hibiscus flower for red . Btw video is pretty intresting❤️😊

Thankyou ahana, purple and blue colour you will have to make instantly and use. Rest all the colours you can make and keep in a glass bottle in refrigerator and it will stay good for 3 months.

I was lamenting about the same question. I will try it with a food dehydrator, since I have no real space to sun dry anything. I'll reply again after I tried. If the dehydrator takes away the taste, it is even better for me. 😀 We'll see.
