Great choice of Music all the way to Auld Lang Syne! Sure makes you realize just how short and temporary this life is. Just think, there were a thousand times that many who died and no one ever heard of them.
Very beautifully done, you done an amazing job in remembering all the celebrities we lost in 2022. Not rushing the years but cannot wait to see 2023, lol!!!!
Death does not discriminate. We are at the mercy of our great creator. We only need to be heartbroken for the ones who may not see heaven. Bless them all.
Really? A lot of foreign celebrities of whom I never heard? What about American actor Robert Brown (November 17, 1926 - September 19, 2022), or Australian singer Judith Durham (July 3, 1943 - August 5, 2022)?
I always thought Mr.Brown was so handsome. Saw him in several shows of 70s besides his work in "Seven Brides". Don't know why he never went beyond character actor status as he was very talented. Mitchell Ryan Conrad Janis Nehemiah persoff Gary bullock James Olson David Birney Joanna Barnes Charles siebert Bruce macvittie Fred ward were some of the other I recognized. We lost some good talent in the past few years. Also, the music that started the reel is hauntingly beautiful...they should use it in the memoriam segment of the academy awards. I knew he was still living and was amazed he was still around in his 90s. Rip, sir
@@mercedyzmarieguion292 , sorry, but Robert Brown wasn't in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers". You're thinking of "Here Come the Brides".. Howard Keel starred in "Seven Brides".
Notable omissions: Bob Wall ("Enter the Dragon" villain Oharra), Sharyn Moffett ("Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House" elder daughter), Laurel Goodwin ("Star Trek" pilot "The Cage" yeoman), Tim Considine ("My Three Sons"), Johnny Brown (Bookman on "Good Times" and regular on "Laugh-In"), Ed Garner (male blonde beach party movie regular), Akira Takarada (icon of Godzilla movies), Valora Noland (beautiful blonde actress of "Star Trek: Patterns of Force" and beach party movies), Pepper Martin (Clark Kent's bully in ""Superman II), Catherine Spaak (star of 1967 Arthur Haley's "Hotel"), Taurean Blacque ("Hill Street Blues"), Yoko Shimada ("Shogun"), Tony Dow ("Leave It to Beaver"), Bernard Cribbins ("Doctor Who"), David McCullough (famed author also narrated Ken Burns' "The Civil War"), Anne Heche ("Six Days, Seven Nights"), Gene LeBelll (prolific stuntman and extra in many notable action projects), Joe E. Tata ("Beverly Hills 90210", many classic episodic TV appearances), Bo Brundin ("The Great Waldo Pepper"), Jack Ging ("High Plains Drifter"), Mark Miller (father on sitcom "Please Don't Eat the Daisies"), Robert Brown (Lazarus from "Star Trek'" plus star of "Here Come the Brides"), Venetia Stevenson ("Horror Hotel"), Pele ("Victory"), and my beloved cousin Rita Walter ("As the World Turns"/"Secret Storm"/played the lookalike cousin when seen from behind on "The Patty Duke Show"/also remembered as assistant on "Watch Mr. Wizard" and for classic TV commercials including for the "Mystery Date" board game--she got the dream;; I shall miss her till the end).
You forgot Bernard Cribbins, a British actor, who passed away on July 27, 2022. He was in at least 17 movies and over 117 TV appearances including Doctor Who.
I remembered about 60 of them, and there were a few that I didn't know were still alive, like Gloria McMillan, who played Harriet Conklin, Mr. Conklin's daughter on Our Miss Brooks and another was Yvette Mimieux, who played Weena in the 1963 version of The Time Machine, and Dr. McCrae in Disney's The Black Hole.
My goodness, am I the only one who hardly recognizes any of them? ***Sidney Poitier, of course ***Meat Loaf, yes ***Hardy Krüger Was still alive??? ***2 actors were very pretty.. Yvette and Gaspard so and so, but unknown to me ***Monica Vitti, yes
You are very kind, mystery scoop. You always take benevolent notice of my comments. I appreciate that very much. So even when I have been critical from time to time, I can say that in most cases I am very impressed by your videos (in a positive way). Thank you so much!!!
@@elisabethlinz4256 Could be you're limited in your knowledge of actors reflecting other areas deficient. Read, WTFC, who cares what you know or don't.
@@vincentgoupil180 My goodness, How well mannered, intelligent and benevolent you are. Your work colleagues and your spouse must be so happy to be together with you. A real gentleman. And a true role model for everyone. Congratulations! Stay as you are.
@@elisabethlinz4256 You flatter me, Madame, with your egocentric narcissism Btw, surprised to see Hardy Kruger on the list. His movie "The One That Got Away" was a favorite.
“WE HAD OUR TIME IN THE SUN”. The people who were old when we were young felt exactly the way you do, but when you are so busy with the day to day existence you do not stop and ponder what life is about, it is only when you are old and have time to reflect and realize that there just might not be more tomorrows that you feel that way. We lived our lives, made many mistakes, went many places, raised our children and did what we were supposed to do. Now it is the younger ones turn. Time for us to more on to the next phase. DO NOT BEGRUDGE THE YOUNG--IT IS THEIR TURN---WE HAD OUR TURN!
All these are simply human dresses of many souls, who uses them for a while and then discards it. Fearing death happens only to those who identify the material body ( a dress) with the spiritual soul (the real person). The tragedy in this world is not death but the misuse of the body while living. Therefore, it is said in the Vedas that the most intelligent humans are those who take full advantage of their human forma of life to inquire about their real spiritual identity and consequently live a life according to that understanding.....Hare Krsna.
The COVID has taken so many friends and family from us, I'm 77 and I think there should be a tribute to all the ones that have been lost from that Trillion dollar Catastrophe we have suffered.
I’ve always been so curious why knowing which celebrity has passed on is important? My grandmother passed away back in 2015 and she wasn’t broadcasted around the world. 🤔
I believe they have a cure, but if people were cured....the drug industry would lose billions of dollars...this is why these doctors play on people who want to continue to live....doctors are pushing these drugs and chemotherapy into their bodies knowing that most will die.
Before the internet, my grandma used to keep a small notebook which listed the deaths of celebrities names, written the day she learned of their death on the news. I think it was amazing that in the last years of her life, there were only a few names....she watched everyone she remembered pass away until there were only a few. I think that's why millennials are getting gut punched with these losses. As latchkey kids, we all have on screen dads and grandmas and aunts etc...We are losing some of the oldest celebrity we can remember, at a record rate.
Some I didn't recognize, others I didn't know had passed, while others still make me sad like the passing of Angelia Lansbury among others. Some taken way too soon, many were blessed to live a very long life. Thank you for putting this together for us. I know it had to have been time consuming.
