Our second robot of the season!
This robot can do both the high goal and the low goal giving it the ability to clear all 4 switches for 12 points per pass (or goal in skills). It adjusts the shot using a gear that can move the rubber bands closer or further away, and is very consistent with good driver practice.
100 points driver skills, and able to compete competitively in teamwork matches, both by itself and with an alliance partner.
If you're wondering how on earth this is 100 points, I get it. This game isn't one you can play without reading the game manual. Teamwork scoring isn't intuitive, and skills is even crazier.
Go read the game manual, but in short, because two switches are knocked down, each goal is 8 points. 8 goals x 12 points each = 96 points, + 4 points for the 4 switches = 100 points.
This is our first video with the real field, and the balls were definitely different than we expected. I can't wait to see what teams build this year!
