I know I asked this several times already but please do a formation battle test like this with apocalypse tanks at the front supported by repair IFVs and Prism Tanks at the rear
Yeah, they killed their own worth in cost + an additional amount extra in %. The most cost effective was other (elite) Prism tanks followed by the Slave Miners.
Given that an elite Battle fortress with *3 elite GGIs an elite sniper/seal and an elite crono legionnaire can beat *4 elite prism tanks I'm still feeling pretty good, and I'm even giving the prisms a chance by not putting a Boris in there instead of the seal/sniper 😊
@@John_Hemingway That's 2000 + 3*400 + 1000(600 if using Britain) + 1500 = 5700 (5300 if using Britain) 4 Prisms in total costs 4800, so even with a Sniper in there which is cheaper than Seal that one Battle Fortress load is indeed more expensive than 4 Prisms. Now if you switch that Seal/Sniper to a Boris which costs 1500, that's 6200 bucks. Meaning that even 5 Prisms is still cheaper than that. Ofc, not talking abt how you got that Boris anyways, presumably due to teams. Ofc if you do have soviet tech, then yes, technically you will also spare 500 from building the Battlefortress itself with Industrial Plant, which makes for 5700 costs. So no, you are not being more cost effective. The actual point of Battlefortress is by being able to use both War Factory and Barracks at the same time, which is another type of efficiency.
@@krischen2428 It really doesn't help BFs case when building one costs nearly double the amount of bucks and time than prism. BFs real main advantage remains being efficiency in productivity by making use of barracks and its potential for anti air which Prism lacks(Siege Choppers, rocketeers, disks are the only real prism hunters.). In reality the chance of you building BFs over Prism will be low, it's usually a good idea to build a few BFs depending on your situation but it's pretty much never a bad idea to swarm Prism. Well, unless you are uber competitive, but then you are almost certainly using France if using allies at all for cannons and that's where mostly your money will go...
The logic is clear, the winner is the one with enough armor to get close to the prism tank, the war miner is a good example of this. Everyone else might even try
