I definetly just added a bunch of games to my let's play lists. Thanks for making this, i had no clue alot of these games existed. That penguin game was my favorite. Nice video.
Thoroughly enjoyed this; thank you for compiling and sharing it. I find it remarkable how inconsistent in ambition the games were, even after Sega showed they could do some state-of-the-art stuff.
The graphical mastery they achieved with some of these games is beyond my comprehension. I mean, in 85 we had Doki Doki Penguin Land which was a very typical game you would expect for the time and then they pull out Hang On right in your face. It's a shame some people won't understand the impact of seeing something like Virtua Fighter for the first time. Long live Sega.
Good vid. I only knew of 25 of these and didn't know some of those were Arcade games also. You otta do one of these for the Data East games. They had some good ones in Arcade.
I only recognize some because of Yakuza. So much respect bro. How is it that the way they made the Arcade games are better than a lot of Emulators tho?
Ironically, the Master System would have the ability to draw 3D graphics like this, but only on a 4 megabit cart, and those cost around $70 to make back in 1987. That's why most SMS games were just one or two megabits.
