I'm surprised Sneaky and Aphro never happened as a bot lane in LCS, they always played with each other during off seasons or in solo queue IIRC and their vibes were always funny
I mean I love Sneaky but no one "deserves" to be in the league, period. Teambuilding is dependent on so many factors - agreeing on salaries, managing which personalities will work together, taking gambles instead of going with known quantities (if you want to get wins in the long run), which often means specific pairings of veterans and rookies, etc. Many great players don't get on teams for these legitimate reasons, and many poor players get on teams for the same reasons. TBH, I don't know if there was a ton of behind the scenes drama (some seems likely), but looking at the 2020 lineup, the problem was clearly support/mid, not ADC. I doubt Sneaky over Cody fixes much on that team outside of Meteos not leaving, and Meteos perhaps being able to strongside Ssumday even more - but keep in mind even with Ry0ma and Stunt (2 of the worst players in the league), 100T made top 3 regular season in Spring with Cody looking really solid. So hard to say Papa was entirely wrong
@@podefunder They said they would have kept Aphromoo if Sneaky joined; so the bot would have been Sneaky, Aphromoo, and the jungler would have been Meteos. I don't think there are many that would argue Sneaky + Aphromoo would have been a worse bot lane; especially since Aphro and Meteos both pointed out their 100T ADC at the time was just not on the same page.

@@DeeDiazH they do not have money issues where they have go cheap. Plus it's not like sneaky and aphro are super expensive, they both only had DIG as other options.
Man idk how good they would've been but I def think any team with those 3 could be solid as hell. iirc 2020 spring was the mental boom split for TL plus on 100T it'd be Ssumday, Meteos, Sneaky, and Aphro. Ryoma would obv be the biggest question mark on the team but I think he was decent enough and they were already top 3 so imo they could legit challenge FLY and EG for sole possession of 2nd.
as a fan, the first few years of 100t management was such a rollercoaster, from great moves into legit the worst dogshit decisions that could possibly be made over and over. They really were doing the least with the most.
What a great story and man the dream team they would be so hype they have good experience/chemistry sometimes good teammates just win vs assumed teammates that will be better.
It’s crazy they didn’t even TRY to get sneaky when they had meteos. For most teams sneaky is realistically unobtainable bc he would be to expensive and I doubt he would join a bad team but 100t absolutely could have got him. The only reason he “fell off” was bc of the bot lane mage meta that he wasn’t good at but as we can see now that was super short lived
Idk if it's just me, but I swear Apho around DL still seems like he lowkey doesn't like him. Cuz around every1 else, like these 2, he seems way more into the convo. But every time it's DL bro is checked out.
