ahh, i should start making the video i wanted to make back in january but i dont feel comfortable with it. Cuz i feel disgusted by myself because i CANT finish my games, i work on it for a few days and then head to another game! I HATE IT! i dont want to be like that and i want to have fun making games but i just dont :/ nice video keep it up
Very epic video icoso! I definitely learned a lot myself :p and thank you so much for having me in the video, specially at 69 :3 I am definitely recommending this video first to anyone that wants to get into game dev
Oh man can’t believe I slept on this one. Great video! I particularly like the music section since I think that scares off a ton of solo devs and it really doesn’t need to be scary
Thank you very much, that would be cool! Uh, let's see here... I'm thinking back to my German lessons when I was eight years old, haha - Ich bin Icoso... maybe? :p
Thank you for the nice comment, haha! I would have definitely included something about marketing/web design, but I don't have too much experience in that area 😅 Maybe I'll do a Part 2 at some point to cover those topics :)
i havent seen the vid but im sure its gonna be great tips that i will hopefully use edit: Please remember this is my opinions and don't feel bad at all. programming section: thats not that helpful to me not saying its a bad video, i know most of the programming tips but i still don't follow them so not saying this video is unhelpful wish i had a video like this while learning cuz then the good habits would've developed earlier. Designing and Music section: the designing section went over my head but i did get one point the fact that it should match the style no matter what others said was quite helpful as well as the fact that the main functions should be focused on first. I skipped the music section as i havent touched music production so it wouldnt have gone in my head i will surely come back to it in the future Devlog sections: That was amazing quite helpful for a person considering to make devlogs soon not much critiscism for this because i found it quite helpful. Icoso or other developers that gave tips i don't mean to be rude or anything so im sorry if you felt bad for anything said in this comment after all it's all my opinions and like i said this video should be immensely helpful for beginners and intermediates but harder for intermediates to apply since they might have different habit already and changing those can be hard
