100 Useful Unturned Tips & Tricks 

One thing I used to love to do was, cut down trees. Then place claim flags in them so they would be hidden when they grow back.

There are a few of these I didn't know. Here's a tip I have: When you are making a crop farm in your base, use teal berries instead of lettuce. Lettuce gives 15 food and 15 water, while (refined) teal berries gives 10 food and 15 water. But water runs out quicker than food, and you cannot get water from lettuce after you already have 100 food, so teal berries are better.

Fun fact: if you use the black skin your character automatically gets in the back seat when entering a police car

I knew literally every one of these except the range finder one. That blew me away. Also a tip he didn't mention is that while thief top and bottoms have the most storage cargo pants have the same storage as thief bottoms but more armor! So if you find cargo pants take them over thief pants

8:54 Regarding #85, you can also magically take stuff out of closets, washing machines, refrigerators, ovens, etc,... this way. You just need to stand close enough. Version 3.21.5.0.

I learned only 1 thing that is that you run faster in diagonal, but after 2.2k hours of playing it's already pretty good x)

pro tip you did not mention: turning your scope quality down to the lowest will make it sway less if you want to aim and move at the same time

I like to play singleplayer; I use third person to see around corners, especially in the military base towers. Then I jump before getting to the top to see if there’s a zombie in the room. It works every time. You can get into the jail cells by jumping and then falling prone midair. Might take a few tries. Full moon zombies can detect you from much farther away.

I was playing since 2015 (around 4k hours though out various accounts) and still some tips caught me off guard which I didn't even know

Currently on my Washington save I am camping out in a house in a town. There is a pharmacy, seed store, gun store, pizza, and a few more. It's pretty good so far

9:30 i am pretty sure if you see a magma zombie at the top your gonna be freaking out to much and walk backwards out of habit ( i mean backwards so they cant melee you, this is what you do with every zombie except spitters and magmas) i did this, i climbed up a light house and there was a magma at the top, and i knew if i shot him then i would of died from the fire explosion

thanks for the tips, this will be really useful, and i cant wait to do this against my brohter, espically the rest in a washing machine one, he picked theif so i cant hear him, ( im worker since im always the one who crafts our stuff) and now i can surpise him. lol. tho i dont do pvp, i do have it on pvp tho, lol i only attack him by accident or when im mad at him , which was once lol, and my wifi sucks to much to do a actual srever but this is still smart i will try some next time im on a real server

as a new player that just got steam and the game today this is really useful😊

If you like this game, I have two games I would heavily recommend: Rust - Almost the same thing, except it’s graphics are realistic, and servers have hundreds of players. I am actually surprised how many similarities there are, even the slang used in the videos are the same!!!!! (No zombies tho) Minecraft- I am saying this only because the graphics are kinda similar, from the outside they look like similar games maybe, but I think almost everyone loves Minecraft, and so if you a fan of survival fans Minecraft is for you Day Z - similar game to rust, but it has zombies.

Here îs a tip : use blowthorch for getting cutting trees , is a little more silent and takes only 19 seconds to cut the tree

a fire fighters set makes it so you are more resistant to burner explosions

Also you can tell bye heavy hitting with a fire axe if it takes five hits then is pine

Fun fact: me and my friend took all important items from the lockers in the base before leaving and wake up next week to see our base evaporated, nothing was still standing.

what i do with the umbrella is i dont know how to land planes or helicopters ( i only tried once lol) so i just jump out and then use a umbrella so i dont die, tho i havent tried it yet, that is why i have a umbrella so i can do this, also i dont know how to fly them either lol
