Seen in this video is the 31st annual ripon Menlo Park police parade. There was over 100 vehicles in attendance this year such as new, vintage and classic, police, fire, and EMS, vehicles from around the globe.
So I seem to be getting quite a few comments regarding how I was moving the camera and zooming and people did not like that. I hear you guys and next year I will leave the camera on a tripod and not touch it for the first drive by, and zoom in on cooler cars on the second run, just to make everyone happy.
You did good, but i get their point. Missed a lot of the cool cars, and zoomed in on the newer ones people see everyday that are not really special. The classics are what people like, stuff that is not around any more, or unique. The newer stuff can be seen sitting in a station parking lot next to 30 others that look exactly the same. Good example is right at 12:13, very nice classic Mustang that had a lot of history on the highways, but zoomed to the Charger which is seen all the time. But you did good. Good camera quality too.
Spectacular and brilliant video, Anthony! This reminds me when I went to my first police parade here in Merida back in 2013!! I was completely emotional hahaha Nice for the Menlo Park Police, really loving the U.S. police cars!! Those old police vehicles 100/10
Phenomenal footage dude! Glad you were able to go down there and get some cool stuff! I’m kinda bummed that Fremont didn’t bring their teslas there though
@@GarbageTrucksofCalifornia not exactly. It's also a giant patch and police memorabilia show. The parade was part of it ! lol. But yes I did drive there for this event
You realize half the cars there can't run lights on public streets let alone sirens right? So it wouldn't matter if a vehicle had amber lights and sirens, when there are privately owned classic vehicles running red and blues on the public streets in the parade. A parade is a closed route, anything goes. And they were referring to the fact that ALL of the vehicles around the section did not have their sirens on. And yes you can have vehicles with amber lights and sirens, it's called using them on private property, they can have red and blue lights on private property if they wanted, vehicle does not apply. Issue is when leaving the property, they need to be disabled.
I know. That was me filming. I got that a lot and will not do so next year. I was mainly filming this for myself to go back and see the cars that o thought was cool and posted it as well but seeing how popular this video got o will do better camera work next year. Thank you for watching and leaving a constructive comment
Good video but terrible video at the same time u sort of ruined it by zooming on on certain cars in a way ruined it cause their was no need to when they was gonna pass u in the first place i can’t fault u on anything else as it is amazing to see all the old police cars an fire trucks together an the new ones as well you did a good job on this vid but the zooming in just kinda ruined it in my opinion
Yeah man thanks for the feedback. I just try to show the cars and get a good shot but I kinda got carried away by zooming into the cool cars. Next year I think I'll probably do one shot of just letting the camera sit and another zooming in on the cars.
@@anthonyg13emergencyvideos you’re welcome mate im not saying its bad or anything just the zooming in ruined it a little but i get you im like that myself but i learned not to zoom in an i use another camera for zooming an getting some pics an stuff its an amazing video tho i give u thumbs up on that u got some amazing catches keep up the good work
Keep the camera in one place and leave it alone next time. The constant back and forth, zoom in zoom out made this unwatchable imo. Not to mention there were some interesting vehicles in there that you just ignored completely, like that wagon with the japanese siren at 7:14 :/
I knew a lot of people were probably going to say this. I'll probably do that next time. I just like to show all of the cool vehicles that I personally Thought were interesting.
Sorry just was filming this event and moving in on cars I thought were cool. If you wish you can go watch someone else's video of it but I appreciate the feedback. I will do so next year.
@@evosolutionsllc.910 thank you ! Not sure to be honest. I was like a kid in a candy store with all of the cool units. The swat and bomb squad were up there but I also loved the crown Vic's and Tesla.
