Brother YOU just made my day! I love your channel and appreciate the support coming from someone who I’ve watched before I ever even made a channel! Praying stress at the shop is minimal relating to the Athens situation, thank you for the comment!
@@joshuadouglasarchery Water is under the bridge regarding Athens! We've recovered what we could and we shall press on. Keep doing what you're doing! I'll be here when you hit 1k subs!
About 367 grains at 60 yards this weekend at the Redding warm up shoot. I just started archery about 2 months ago. I started at 27# and I'm now up to 48#.

I shoot a Hoyt RX-7 ultra 70 pounds 28” draw length and black eagle x-impact 300 spine with Easton 50gr titanium halfout 420gr total arrow weight. Shoot out to 120 pretty regularly. Out west here you better be prepared to shoot 90 yards
Great shooting at 100 yards. Making sure your bubble level is perfect is super important at that distance for left and rights. I shoot 100 yards quite a bit. I'm also shooting the Omnia too, great bow!
Because of the lay of the land at my home I don’t practice at past 60. If I were to miss the arrow would land on my neighbors property. So, I don’t get to do it until I’m on another range. But, at 60 yards I can pretty much know where the pin was at the shot. This gives me better feedback to help me work on my form, timing and execution. Something seldom discussed is developing a built-in shot timing no matter the distance ( within reason). My idea is if you can break a good shot within 2-3 seconds inside of a certain time it will help create consistent form. Not saying break the shot ar 2-3 seconds but break the about the same time like 6-7 seconds or 9-12 ( for longer hold people). Point being I believe if you change or lengthen time to the break at longer yardage your form, vision etc is breaking down very possibly?
143 yds on a Moose Target Sitka course Michigan TAC 400gr arrow Prime Nexus 2 72lbs 28.5in draw bow shooting them at 292fps. My farthest pin was to 120 so I had to guesstimate to get there finally got it on the 3rd arrow.
Nice! I've been training at 100yards for the last week. Getting ready for TAC GA tomorrow! I'm shooting RIP TKOs 300 spine 420gr total weight out of my 75lb 28" draw phase 4. Seems to be a very consistent setup even at 100yds!
My longest was a little over 100 yards at a 3 d shoot in the late 80s I donot remember the weight of the arrow but it was aluminum xx75 with a Jennings custom made Carbon Extreme at 100 lbs. But now in my mid 60s I m getting back into it. I will be probably be between 60 to 40 .l haven't tried yet but soon.
I shoot long bombs wt my V3X 29 and my bowtech REVOLT. I use Easton axis 5mm 340 spine 420 grains i shot out to 112 wt my Mathews and the group was ok. Nice range josh. I belong to a archery club.
@@CodyVinson I’ve always ran ABB string but might test out some others next year. My favorite bow I gave shot was a Hoyt helix ultra, something about it just shot great!
