Great job - Best YT video I've seen comparing old vs. modern gloves. I grew up with a glove a tiny bit newer than that one and yes, everything was two-handed catches and no chance of backhand snags or diving to the sides, the pocket was too flat and the web was tiny. Fwiw, that Kiner glove is probably ca. 1950-55, so not quite 100 years old, but close. Pre-WWII may not have had lacing between fingers - even harder to field cleanly with those. I played a few years of 1880s rules ball (no gloves, mushier and larger 'dead' ball) and you not only needed two hands, you basically cradled it in, with extended arms collapsing in towards the torso, like a football receiver.
