Thanks Magnus,...for having a more solid way of giving me the opp way ofunderstanding the work it takes to get the porsche up the mountain, I've watched many versions of people going up the mountain, and people commentating people going up the mountain, and I'd have to honestly say,... that yours was the coolest way to get an understanding about how to get up the mountain. So,...rock on!!! And,...See you up the mountain sometime!!!
The quality of this video blew my mind. Production value was right on, the story was epic, and the telling was captivating. Great, great job on this video!!
Awesome coverage of the event and especially the phenomenal Porsche. Absolutely brilliant Magnus and much appreciated!!! Can't wait to see what they do next year with that monster build.
What a ride and crew! Seizing the opportunity to live the dream we all share, fun to see. Exciting stuff and well documented by you and your crew, Magnus!
I just decided to become a shareholder of Porsche. Got already Ford, Mercedes, VW and BMW. Magus radiates such enthusiasm. The last seconds I watched umpteen times.
Do the drivers/Teams change ECU settings on the go as they get higher in elevation during the race? Or do you choose one for the whole race? Thank you for the content and video?
To be honest I drive a 500 horsepower car and It scares me to death 😂, I think 300 hp would be sweet spot. I really don’t get this 1000 horsepower stuff on street cars.
Just for the hell of it, wouldn’t your Times be slower if you were racing downhill on Pikes Peak ? I was thinking how amazingly fast I could do the mountain roads uphill. I had a CHP chase me 40 miles up HWY 50 on the way to Tahoe. I didn’t know he was back there, and it was totally off season, fall. California Highway Patrol Officers are so cool ! He said, I know you were doing over 90, but let’s just right it up for, oh say 60. More believable.... I was using both sids of the street, I bet the CHP was too. It was too much fun. That was 40 years ago. I haven’t driven much since then. No license since 1988...? I’ve got a bad ass ebike now, with trails out the back door...don’t get me started...
I doubt that the extra power is needed given the cars weight and stock performance. But anything less than 1000 hp is mistaken by Americans as weak. Maybe it was back in the days when the us cars weigh a ton but not nowadays.
Please notice: You can never win with a sparco note beside your head. Spark in my friendship means: crazy brainless guy who speaks in an absolutely disorder. Notice that- please!
This guy how arrogant "oh I'm already giving away too many secrets" bro anyone that has even the slightest grasp on even the simplest of vehicle dynamics/ chassis+suspension setup understands that stiff is bad and that predictable precise movement the provides feedback and enables proper use of weight transfer even on a smooth circuit with warmed tires & of course even more so on cold tires and a bumpy track 🤦
No music and no intro with speaking heads. No-one came here to listen to these people or to listen to and watch your edits. Video of the car being driven please, no music, and no back and forth cuts. Please.
You NEED a collab with @MannyKoshbin please ?! also what ever happened to your TV special #BestDrivenRoad was it ? only ever seen the trailer never seen it released
