Oh my God! A C18? I didn't know there was a C18! Gotta be a dozer engine. 1000 hp is that Silver Back Gorilla torque...lol. Beautiful truck. I cant stop drooling over that engine😋

MrBigR 504 I'm told it's a c15 block with different crank rods and pistons and thinner liners. there a few that run and the truck drags at notredame du Nord

Thats not a C18 its a C15 6NZ and its no where near 1,000 hp.

C-18. Motor is a 600 horsepower factory. It came in many trucks. It is no problem to get 700 horsepowe from them just doing a cat box. I think mind did 735 horsepower.

A C18 came spec'd to its use. Most C18s used in trucks were 575 hp like those that came in the D9 dozier. the Industrial version like I put in my heavy haul 357 gliders started out rated @ 800 hp @ 2100 rpm. I used a Pittsburgh Power manifold, marine cam, injectors and fuel pump and on their dyno they make 880 hp touching the ground. I haul mostly military contracts in the midwest and can pull 100 tons up a hill with no problem which is a big deal seeing the damn permits are so ridiculous to obtain and being on time is such a big issue.

thats a C15 not a C18, I have 3 gliders I build for heavy haul I put C18s in and can point out 3 big give aways that prove its not what you claim. One thousand horsepower? Yea not a chance the C15 was 435 - 625 hp (in a twin turbo spec) so at best even with a marine cam, injectors, fuel pump, heads, and Pittsburgh Power manifold youre cranking out MAYBE 750. My C18s are cranking out 880 hp touching the ground and I assure you theyd drag this truck over the river and through the woods all the way to grannys house.
