Nice tribute, well orchestrated... I do love the little jump on the camera at the time when horns are tooted. makes me jump every time lol, but its still sweet music. Thanks for sharing, well done. - All the best Garry.
@@Bahamas-rd8le I'm aware, but I would think giving a reasonably audible note on the horn would also be quite important to ensure people hear them coming. Or at least get the attention of random people nearby
It was great to meet you today 6/6/21 I’m Scott and my son Ewan and my wife were all talking to you while waiting for the flying Scotsmen. You now have a new sub, keep up the good work 👍👍, I’ll be thinking of you the next time the trains are running late 😂😂👍👍.
I'm not fully sure why, I do seem to recall more than one train stopped at that signal on that day, so there could have been a problem with it and drivers had to call the signaller to get permission to pass. It could have also been that trains had to stop before getting access to the goods loop just south of the station, and there was a shunt/calling on signal next to the red which wasn't visible in the shot. Again, I'm not fully sure, but those two explanations would make the most sense. Hope that helps!
Not all of our network is electrified. I thought that'd have been obvious. Some of it can't be electrified or we don't have the funding for it, much of The Heart Of Wales isn't electrified yet... probably never will be.
