I am yet another straight guy who absolutely loves this song. It gives me goosebumps, brings me to tears, and yet, it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

Not going to lie,I prefer the English version to the Japanese. Because instead of Lenne outright possessing Yuna to sing ( like say Shuyin would do), she sings a duet with her. It also fits perfectly with the idea of Lenne being a singer. Lenne didn't use Yuna, they harmonized. Plus, it fits with the goal of trying to make the two side make peace with one another.

I can't help but laugh when I remember that the sequel to FFX involved Yuna busting out some late '90s R&B for magical purposes.

When I was 13, I went over to a friends house during the holidays. We both got X-2 after playing through X and hyping the game for the last half of the 4th term of the school year. I went to his place, and he was in chapter 3. We played further into the game, eventually witnessing this scene. It was about 12 am. We were amazed. Consequently, after we regained character control, we went to the sphere theatre in Luca, purchased the video of this song, and watched it repetitively for at least and hour an and a half This song brings back so much nostalgia

Every time I listen to this song I always had a teary eye. Those years, those days. Childhood memories really hits me hard.

FFX and FFX-2 is a emotional rollercoaster . You laugh , you cry, and have hope that Yuna and Tidus deserve a happy ending.

2:30 omg how can anyone hate this game? Look at the detail that has gone into that one second of Tidus' face. Just one second that shows pure love and gentleness. The CGI/FMV cuteness in this game are incredible and - dare I say it - may even be more incredible than the ones in 10. I love this game.

Happy 20th Anniversary Final Fantasy X-2

Man no matter how much people dislike X and X-2, and although it isn't as good as other FF games, it will still hold a special place in my heart as my very first FF game. I actually played X-2 before X and i was simply speechless before this scene as a kid. This is what got me into RPGs!

The songs about the time with Lenne and Shuyin. It was Lenne's song, but Yuna gets the song from her dressphere, and creates a connection with Lenne, it's about the time through the ages that they've missed each other.

Im 40 year old😢😢 I heard this song when I was 25 years old😢😢😢

I'm 5 years younger than my sister, and I watched her play through all of the FF games. FFX and FFX-2 were my favorite out of them. Coming back to this video now makes me want to cry because back then I was way too young to understand anything in the games emotionally. Now I need to buy these and play through them myself to get the FULL EFFECT.

No matter how many people say that FFX-2 it's horrible, I still hold a special place for it (cause' it was my first FF game), and though the story isn't that good compared to other FF games it's still worthy, and it could be much better if they had focused more on improving the history behind characters like Shuyin/Lenne/Paine instead of shitty characters like Leblanc/Ormi/Logos. But, besides that, it has an amazing battle system, great graphics and some wonderful songs like this one, that in my opinion, matchs wonderfully with Shuyin and Lenne love atmosphere, and it's just as good as Suteki da Ne for Tidus/Yuna, and Eyes on Me for Rinoa/Squall on FFVIII.

Goodness this song still makes me cry, so many years after.

I will always remember this song. I'm 40 years old and every single time I play this song it moves me to absolute tears. The intensity of finding this kind of love can change worlds move mountains and inspire a person to reach for the stars sun and the moon. I don't know when and I don't know for who but there is a special person or persons that channel this song for me. I don't know if its at a funeral or at someone's death bed but I do know this. I will know at that moment when the words from this song will flow from my soul cause I could not think of a better way to express that kind of unconditional love one last time as I say goodbye to whoever unchains this song from my heart.

This is one of those songs I know every word too. Which is impressive considering I have a pretty bad memory. FFX/X-2 are my fav games of all time with KH2 up there with them. Such an emotional rollercoaster every time I play them 🥰

Found FFX very recently at a difficult time in my life. The characters, the emotions this game has brought out so far, it's been very therapeutic. I haven't completed it yet, nor X-2, but I love it already.

I keep coming back to this... Tells a lot about how much this song affects me. ;_; This might be my favourite soundtrack, since it's about Lenne and Shuyin, who are my favourite pair storyline even though they were left kind of in the backgrounds. ;_; The song is amazing... just a pure masterpiece to be honest. I like the original and this equally, they both have their own speciality, I feel like this fits Yuna better and it has the duet at the end + this is emotional and original is just pure emotion and skill

Even after all these years this song still hits hard FF 10 was my first final fantasy game back in the early 2000's a friend gave it to me said I wasn't his taste in games I've been a final fantasy fan ever since and 10-2 is one of my favorites not to mention one of if not the hardest game too 100%

FF X-2 was such a guilty pleasure for this little boy who wanted to listen to pop music and play dolls, but was too afraid to do so irl! Make fun all you want, but this game was my ultimate guilty pleasure!!!

I am kinda emotional with games... but that game made me cry way more than it should have... srsly. .. the ff game that gave us the moogle furry suit made me cry... a lot! you can say what you will but it played the sequel card perfectly! jesus. wakka and lulus baby. shuyen's Story (including this fucking Song ) the voice overs of auron and yunas dad in the final Boss battle... and of course tidus's resurrection. oh the feeeeeeeeeweeels

First, I hated X2 for being too Girly, but after years went on, it has a place in my heart now.

I think that the creators of final fantasy should make their story a game. I would live to see how the characters fell in love and what it was like when they lived!

FFX was the last great story/game by the Final Fantasy series. Say what you will about your favorites, the game was masterfully done with love and passion which could be felt.

I don't like the style of this game or the game play, but it has the most beautiful story and this song always gives me goose bumps. This story is so intrinsic to our life, our history and our culture, its just sad that so few people understand it and the japanese had to point it out to us.

Very Happy to hear that "1000 word" brings back people to playing this game. I didn't start playing it again until I was 13 years old

People hate one the 10 franchise but it really had some heart breaking messages that we were given a chance to make sure we do right by others and rebuild bridges. Just so heartbreaking
