These will take off once the aftermarket companies start making things like cages/roofs/doors/exhaust etc. Everybody who rides sxs floods them with aftermarket parts so if you buy it and have to leave it stock I don’t think it will be very popular. Especially being a sport sxs
Those HP numbers aren’t that high. Polaris, canam, etc, have been doing it for a while. Not to mention all the Motorcycle twins making even more power than that! 105hp from a 1000cc is actually pretty conservative.
If you watch their shows consistently, they call out issues they see with any units…including the big players who provide review units, so you’re way off base. Obviously manufacturers want to put their best foot forward so they provide top of the line units for review. I’m not sure what else people are looking for…a show about complaints and nitpicks?
@@RARufus not really. They’ll say they don’t like a flimsy lid here and there or full doors would be nice. There’s almost never anything particularly critical. They *may* criticize something on an outgoing model that’s no longer being sold.
An upgraded cf moto? Will it last? What about the warranty, does Segway is serious enough to help dealer and customers after sale? If I go buy a YXZ, I know I can beat the crap out of it. I not sure I'm "crazy" enough to buy a Segway. The rocksliders, top, winch, beadlocks, lcd's, mirror, light bar, hitch of the X is a great pkg minus lower doors.
Guys can anyone help , how do you know the difference between the gen 1 and gen 2 models with cvtech. What are the benefits of this and should we stay clear of gen 1 models. Many thanks.
In Canada at least, parts are readily available, and the aftermarket is taking off. Not to mention the European countries that have had a 2yr head start over North America.
when will you be able to test the hybrid version with direct drive...no beltdrive ? this one should beat everybody on the market with there drivesystem !! i like very much the way you are comment your episode, its professional !!
Thank you so much. I appreciate that. We were actually supposed to get a look at the hybrid, but it got delayed so we are hoping in the coming weeks/months we will get some real time in this vehicle.
Oddly enough, that X3 is also priced similarly to the Wildcat XX Black Hills Edition which is 130 hp. So are these machines priced too high or is the X3 just a frickin steal?
@Dirt Trax TV I would love to see this thing on some rocks or a moab style trip, looks awesome just have a feeling it's gonna be like the original wildcat1000 and get hung up
@@dirtremedyoffroadthat's why the 72" model comes w/ 30" tires for 15" of GC as opposed to the 64" 29" tire 14" of GC. The suspension is pretty well done, and has good adjustment
They said they had a 1000 atv and it only looks like a 570 is offered. As for sxs aftermarket probably sucks and getting parts is the same I can guarantee
I still can't get over gas powered segways. Does this mean segway is admitting electric is horrible? Who is certifying segway hp ratings? Because I seriously doubt the claims. I hope this one doesn't catch fire like the utility version before it's surrounded with turkey pans as a fix.
They are making hybrid electric atvs and sxs as well. Without making the thing ungodly heavy, electric would have too short of a range to be viable for most people and would severely limit their potential customers. It’s better that they build a customer base first and transition once the battery tech is better or to some kind of alt fuel system.
Where would someone get their "Segway" serviced? Are repair parts readily available at dealers or domestic suppliers? Segway sells overpriced electric dirt bikes with virtually no product support. The products may be good when new, but powersports products are subject to abuse and require repair and service.
SEGWAY VILLAIN the size of a billboard on the side. Villain? Looks like a weak cage. I think it's too expensive for 105 hp, the amount of travel and the unproven nature of the brand. The goofy looks remind me of the CF Moto. We'll have to see how they do...
@@nicholasolsen4698 I didn't mean to slam CFmoto. They have improved and are earning their good reputation. I haven't heard anything bad about them in the past couple years. I do wish they would restyle them so they didn't look cartoonish. CFmotos needs to take the next step with Walker Evans, Fox or King shocks and 18" of travel and maybe a gentile turbo option to 130 hp.
Is segway a piece of CRAP??????... Mall copss ride thise ectric 2 wheelerz, not sure abt this chinese crap making here trying to outdo honda or Kawasaki
