He did won on the 2nd run, it appeared to me that the golf jumped on the first run, or the supra driver felt asleep, but still impressive for a 800 hp golf... both awesome cars.

Wrong tyres..

McMuffinFluffin wrong tyres? this supra is running toyo r888's on all 4 wheels which are the best semi slicks on the market. But judging by the video the rear wheels are too small. He probably hasn't rolled his fenders and you can't go wider than 295 or 305 eithout rolled fenders. There are some 1500 hp supra's out there rocking rolled fenders and the biggest i have seen were 345's. Now thats some serious wideness. Still, 345's can't even hold 1000 hp of 2jz power because the powerband isnt great, after the turbo kicks in it just launches off and it creates wheelspin, doesnt matter what tyres you are running. No tyre can hold that except very wide slicks

You mean the brake fluid master cylinder on left hand side of firewall? With all the thermal insulation around the turbo and exhaust it should be more than cool enough for it.

And why do you want 1995 supra against 2010 Audi?? It only shows how far the Japan were in 1995... Btw I Love Audi but i think the Supra is the pure Sports car. If you look up for Supras LHD In Germany the price starts at 38.000 Euro. And i always ask myself why are they so expensive ?

it seems you cannot read or fully understand figures...one the one side we have a car with 1000 hp and on the other side we have cars with 800 hp and less....however , supra has lost or won with a short margin drag races...except the one with Merc ML...By the way , I have not seen yet a reliable Corolla with 800 hp ....it might be the lack of technology between Golf and all middle class japanese cars...

DIMITRIS PAPADOPOULOS at least this supra makes 1000hp for 50k including the car and the golf alone already costs around 50k :)
