heavy lord is underrated too. stoned jesus, naxatras etc. Lots of bands out there that we hardly get to hear normally. I learned a few new names when I watched a documentary on southern sludge bands. Very informative. Went n search from there. The heads (I think these are Brits but not sure) is cool too but you never get them played on any radio stations or in interpipes. Lots of stuff out there but somehow limited. YT is actually useful for that. I have impression it will fold one day when google goes too far on the woke side but this is future. Now we have that and it is a lot of stuff we can see and play. Ach I see Samsara blues experiment in my recommendations - is also cool. Forgot about that band over time but it comes back.
Yes! This song is the funky, slow, bluesy, groovy, greasy stuff that I love. This sludge is so thick you need a 4x4 to get through it. Totally filthy! Now, can anyone recommend similar songs? I need more, please. Please!
Love these guys. I got hip to these guys a few months ago through Pandora. Super Van Vacation is in steady rotation for my work week. This is probably the coolest band I had never heard of until I started using Pandora. Love this album. Great band. Really digging the vibe.
That's not true, I was there and the crowd went crazy, huge mosh pits, crowd surfing, a fucking rubber unicorn flying around, it was madness but sadly the footage doesn't show that
