Bonne continuation.
I learned quite a bit machining over 35 years and I’m finally happy to say I’m getting the hell out of it as of today . Companies don’t pay shit today for skilled labor so good luck with the young generation who don’t want to work . 🖕
You have touched on a good subject, congratulations. We have the chrome plating of this ROD done outside. When putting it in the boiler or during shipment or lifting and lowering, they damage the piston side, so I process the piston side after it is chrome plated and delivered.
You are right brother, rope is very important in our work. Right now, it is the safest rope that can lift these weights. If I feel that this will be a problem, I will not use it anyway.
I know this has been brought up many times....wheres your saftey glasses? You only get 1 set of eyes...also wearing gloves around lathes and mills is a very bad idea
Yes, you are right. I use all of them when necessary. I use gloves to protect my hands. I do not use them because they are dangerous when adjusting the counter.
I guess you thought I was talking about the weight of the material, but I am talking about the power of the HYDRAULIC CYLINDER we produce, there is no mistake in the number.
Your work procedure is unsafe . This should be done with a steady rest to help support while it is being machined . This would also enable deeper depth of cuts with higher feed rates .
@@hydraulicfactory if your piece accidentally falls of the live center it would ruin your beautiful lathe as well as the work piece. Better safe than sorry.
I am not talking about the weight of the part, I am talking about the power of the HYDRAULIC CYLINDER we produce. It is produced for 1000 tons of HYDRAULIC press.
I don't understand why he showed a sarcastic attitude. If you don't know, you can research and learn. This ROD is produced for 1000 tons of HYDRAULIC CYLINDER. 1000 tons of HYDRAULIC press cylinder.
