1000W SCHWINN E-TRIKE CONVERSION WITH 52V 17.5 Ah BATTERY 

These are a great mode of transportation. I built mine before watching any videos and it changed my life. I was crippled and relied on taxis.

I have 2 trikes in work right now, and oh boy is it fun! Being an old hotrodder and a retired US NAVY tech there is NO WAY I could resist... BTW: Those foam "Donutz" are great for spray painting stands

Hi what is the best kit you tried for convert the bike ? How your bike performed ?

A little heads up on the Schwinn. Ive seen a video of a Schwinn Trike conversion that was loaded up with 50lbs or so and driven daily. After several years it failed drastically in the worst of places. He was scooting through a turn at a busy intersection in Frisco Bay area. No injuries, except his pride, stopping traffic and picking up pieces. I believe it was the axle that failed, if memory serves.

May someone tell me the names of the top 5 fasted ebike trikes and scooters.I want the ones with the two wheels in the back ?

Was there any difficulty in mounting the PAS magnetic disk on the pedal spindle. My Schwinn left pedal does not seem to have much clearance on the spindle. Thanks

Great videos, quick question. I have a Knock off Schwinn trike with a 750 front motor. My problem is the wheel always seems to work it’s self loose from the front fork. I have torque bars and washers on the forks but it still gets loose and spins the wire till it disconnects. What is going on? Too much torque or what? Any suggestions?

I bought a super janky one of these from my neighbor, it appears to have the same motor and controller as yours but the battery is nowhere near as nice and the wiring is horrendous - although it does work. Could you provide a link to the aliexpress conversion kit so I know what mine was supposed to be in it’s prime?

Great build and narrative. Questions: I have the exact trike, even same color. What would it cost for the hub kit and separately, the bike battery from alixpress? Im new to ebikes, and have no idea how to navigate getting these parts affordably. I currently dont ride the tricycle much due to its single speed and breathing problems, but, want to do this exact diy build so I can be more mobile and healthy. Any tips, suggestions, a parts or build list, would be very helpful? Thank you kindly :)

Word of warning about E-trikes: I built an E-trike with the Schwinn Meridian, AW motor kit and 48V-1000W battery. Here's the problem with this set up. The whole reason for a trike in the first place is liesure stability. Yet the funky/wobbly nature of trikes is exactly contrary to this! If you're coordinated/experienced enough to ride these within a margin of safely then you would also be able to ride a regular bike just the same. Just get you a regular bike of good quality and put a basket on it. I sent all items back. As an aside, the motor provided plenty of power and speed. The Jury is still out on the reliabilty of this stuff long term.

A couple of questions... I have the exact same trike, with a 26 inch front wheel. I'm 70 and need some assist to get to the market and back. This video is the first one I found tonight. In the video you say you replaced the brakes. What with? The stock trike has brakes (which I think are shit), are the chinese brakes better?? California has a 750 watt limit. Can the controller be programmed to limit the power to 750 watts? Where are you located? Can I hire you to do the conversion?
