Awesome first time turning laps at the Apex Karting Center in Perris, California. Huge thank you to Velocity Karting for allowing me to hop in their 100cc KPV kart. As someone who has spent their whole racing "career" racing rental sport karts and L0206 at CalSpeed, this was a fun jump up from those classes. Went from 45mph engine to 60mph. Freeway speed. At the end of my session, I was only 2 tenths off of what the points leaders lap times. Looking forward to completing my first race next weekend on September 7th,2019 at Apex.
