The world’s best metal guitarist wants you! Alexi Laiho, from the group Children of Bodom, is turning the Senate Square into an amazing metal arena for a short time. Alexi is composing a commissioned song for the Helsinki Festival, and he is inviting 100 electric guitarists to join him in performing it on the big stage.
Upload your demo video for Alexi during May at 100guitarsfromhel.fi or drop in to see the guitar skills of others. The Helsinki Festival and Elisa will be following the progress of the project throughout the entire spring and summer.

Ali Brooker LOL... hellz yes it is! \m/\m/ 100 guitars amps etc plus 100 guitarists -- I'm glad I'm not booking this like I do other events. Can't imagine if they all had riders and demands plus the backline and lighting -- ugh just everything. But it's going to fucking kick ass for sure! So psyched I'm leaving for Finland June 30th. Your comment made me lol ..

there is a bug on 100guitarsfromhel.fi website when i wanna send my youtube link i get a white screen with this message : " Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'elseif' (T_ELSEIF) in /var/www/public/wp-content/themes/100kitaraa/lib/participate.php on line 76 " is it a known problem ? thanks !

grvgplayer Damn! Sorry about that, we'll try to fix it asap! I really don't know why that happens to some people, but if you try again tomorrow and it still doesn't work, please email us at 100guitarsfromhel@helsinkifestival.fi and we'll see what we can do.
