This is rare, you do not find units like that every month. the storage auction people around her barely make anything, because the average lockers sell for $500, or less. It's not like they sell $11k lockers every month, this is like a once or twice a year hit.
I can not even imagine spending $11k on a storage locker, I bought storage lockers for a year with my Uncle in the East Peoria Illinois area and I belive the highest price locker I ever saw was $1.100. And most of the lockers went for $300 or less. One of our best lockers sold for $30, and we made back about $800 on it. It was full of Nike shoes, and a few pair of Air Jordans. I would say 20 pairs of shoes, 2 leather jackets, etc. I only saw one locker sell for more than $1.000 the whole year, and it was all tools and machine shop equipment. We just do not see lockers like that is my area, it's just home good that people put in a storage locker, sometimes you find golf clubs, tools, collections of things, but nothing like a locker full of brand new items in the boxes. This is California stuff only, we have nothing like that around here.
Most of the boxes were still sealed, so you know the item is in it. But of course, you might find a few empty boxes, but those guys are smart, and they are not going to pay $11k for empty boxes, I would guess 98% of them have the item in it.
