Today in celebration of my 100th video on this channel since I've started this channel, I'm up at the Cosmic Express Car Wash in Seguin TX. This place was built this year and opened just a few months ago (with eventually more locations to follow), and was the first major express tunnel car wash to be built in the Seguin area since another location right up the road in the early 2010s that has went through 4 different owners over its life (that says a lot about the condition of the place, and how good the equipment was taken care of), and unlike most express car washes, this one has modern features like an STI Flowline conveyor belt setup, designed to eliminate problems with drivers turning, braking, or shifting out of neutral during the wash cycle. This utilizes Sonny equipment in its tunnel, which is honestly my personal favorite among all the companies that manufacture tunnel equipment, they do such a great job when they're set up and maintained properly, and this one is no exception. I did buy the top dollar Graphene wash package which came out to $28 (kinda pricey TBH), and wash quality for this I would rate this an 8/10, the opening presoak was applied very well, and this tunnel is equipped with the Spyder SFM901 combo wrap consisting of 4 side brushes, top front to back curtain mitters, and also the optional bottom side brushes, the first set of side brushes profile pretty nicely, along with triple foam application, and the curtain mitters did a great job, and the 2nd brush set did a great job as well, and this is equipped with 2 more sets of front to back mitters, the first set which utilized lava wax application as well as Sonny's new Python tire scrub brushes did great, the 2nd set that has bottom side brushes did great as well, and after that came the omni high pressure rinse arch with did great, and this also has 2 sets of wheel blasters, both of which did excellent (I do like how they pivot to concentrate on the wheels), and this also had another front to back mitter set (man, that's a lot of mitters) that applied the ceramic coating first before the mitter contacted, and those did great, and lastly the rinse arches did an excellent job, along with the dryers, the first one consisted of the wet environment flash dry dryer set, and then moving along to the next set, and even for being the simple air dryer setup without any side extension dryers, they still did a fantastic job, and also this is equipped with a tire shine system, which also did great.
Also a shout out to goes to Southwest Car Washes ( / @southwestcarwashes ) who I had the pleasure of meeting when I was down there, who also did an outside view of this very car wash ( • ($28, 4K Outside View)... ).
