Fun Fact: The girlfriend of Freddie was soo close to him even after breaking up that Freddie became her child's godfather when she got married to someone else and upon deathbed from his suffering of AIDS, he even willed his estate and fortune to his ex-girlfriend showing that he had always loved the girl despite his personal sexual experiences. Another Fun Fact: The 1985 Live Aid was a sheer luck chance that May got and thanks to Freddie's intelligence, they got the biggest break in all musical history. May received a letter and a call from Bob Geldof to play at Live Aid. May had wanted to play at it regardless of the outcome as everyone in the band knew that despite gaining a few chart hits in the US, they ain't famous enough there. When Freddie walked into the studio after a glass of whiskey and overheard May explaining to Deacon and Roger what he had just received, Freddie instantly shot down May and said that the band is famous as it is and there's no need for such a time consuming publicity stunt (He actually wanted to go but Freddie as Freddie is, he's putting up a solid front). May pleaded with Freddie and Freddie released an ultimatum that if they were to play, they'll get the ultimate prime time of 6:30pm UK time which just nice is about 2pm in the US which meant that by that time, everyone was having dinner in the UK while watching TV and the US are having lunch (TV Dinners were a rave back then. Everyone eats them daily). With May relaying the message back to Geldof, Geldof was at first reluctant to cave in but then realized just how big Queen was in the UK and he needed that publicity stunt on his own front too, agreed to Freddie's request and thank god he did because Queen got one of the longest play time at Wembly Stadium and one of the best displays of music history ever.

I've always had a love for Queen, not just because they gave us two/three of the best songs ever in history with "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions", but because they provided the soundtrack for the movie that led to one of my first favorite genre TV shows, Highlander (1985).
