Still working fine, now facing issues as error in log file----An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine

Hello, Regarding installing any dependent dlls into the GAC, I see that you are doing this on your development instance. Won’t we have to register the dll again once we deploy to the remote SQL Server instance? It will not be in the GAC for that remote machine once we deploy.

Yes when we deploy the ssis package to remote sql server instance then we need to register the dll to remote sql server instance as well. The dll can only be used from ssis if you will register it in the gac.

Hi Aqil, I'm facing a problem. In production one SSIS package is running from last 4-5 hours which usually takes 10-15 mins to complete. How to resolve/troubleshoot this issue. What is use of sp_whoisactive? Pls try to make video on SP_WHOSISACTIVE. Thank you for all your videos, your videos are really helpful to learn concept in short time !! 👍

Yeah you can run sp_who2 active on the sql server and see what package is currently doing and see if there is any blocking or not. I will try to make a video on this topic in future.

It should work for all versions of Visual Studio at least from Visual Studio 2013 onwards.

Hi, I need to do this for work and its not possible to register dll in computers. Is there any other way to do it?

I think there are some custom component in market but for those you would to purchase the license and there is no other way. There is no inbuilt component in SSIS for SFTP as of now.
